I found two "beautiful disasters" one that Kelly Clarkson keeps singing and one by 311.. are either of those the "beautiful Disaster" you are referring to?
the kelly clarkson one. I heard it fone stripped back , on guitar , and a piano version. it sounds so much better that way. just one of those songsthat loves a simple treatment.

The singing and playing is nice. But it misses the 'balls' of the original. I guess that is because there is no electric guitar solo.
