The US is far less culturally diverse today than in the past. Most ethnic Europeans have lost their identity (Irish, German, Scots etc.) and now the other groups like Jews, Hispanics and even Africans are being melted into a shitty consumer culture pot. But worst of all, the native American Indians are facing cultural extinction.

This is all so true.

A homogenous culture and nation means less friction and violence. Preserving that is a good thing.

But those days are sadly behind us...save for the Japanese, who do well for themselves.
