I love this. I love my dad. He was my baseball coach and I was a pitcher. My dad was very even tempered but one day, when I was 12, I had a hard day at the mound and my dad let me hear it. I rode home with my mom...I was heartbroken.
When my dad got home, he got on his knees, cried, and begged my forgiveness. That's stayed with me all these years.

A Christian or a follower of Christ became a new creation when that person believed and received the finished work of Jesus on the Cross.
Repentance (metanoia in Greek) means "a change of mind" (Believe in the Good News).
Believe in Jesus Christ and the finished work.
We can only receive from God, we can never "change" ourselves.
Romans 11:36-"For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever."
