dude....just cuz they dont sound like a bunch of crappy bums with instruments doesnt mean theyre "pop" the fact is the vandals (who started in the 80s) are FAR from pop ...ive never even heard one of thier songs on the radio ...they helped bring punk to light by inspiring bands like the offspring and green day... mainstream isnt "pop" infact thats how MOST normal people find a band they like....your howards alias (which i have heard many times over again) band sounds like bad punk wannabees
