I Listen This Song For The First Time, And, Yes, I Cry, But I Want To Listen It Again, Again And Again, I Want To Listen All The Wonderful Songs He Wrote! RIP Mr. Cochran. Thanks To You True Fans!
One can just imagine, the vast amount of great songs he could have done, with even just another five more years. One of my favorite singers, right up there with holly and fuller. He hasnt been forgotten 50 years later, and in another 50, he still wont be.
I wonder how come one as me have been obsessed with an artist for more than 20 yars. I have no easy answer but I guess he had it all going for him. The rebel rocker image, the angelic punk, James Dean on gtr,no punk or palooka of '59 that's Eddie for me

Elvis just had more aura around him than Eddie and the quality of his music was more mainstream. Eddie's music was stripped down rockabilly. 2nd to Elvis but a better guitarist!
Thanks very much for putting this up : I think he was one of the VERY best rock'n'rollers of all time : great lyrics, fantastic licks, handsome man, fun man, cool man : missed man !
I know someone who is making a documentary on him.
Also, a slight typo in this work... : Eddie's girlfriend ( and songwriter time to time ) was
Sharon Sheeley, not heeley. ( no offence , just respecting her too !)
I think Eddie had the same kind of "rock and roll charisma" Elvis had. To me he really had enough of his own style and honesty, to have stood on the same stage as Elvis, any day of the week. That's a bold statement, but I really think he had it goin' on. They had their different styles, but I think Eddie had a real rock and roll heart. Marc Trainor.
There have been, and are, a lot of great players and singers but this man is truly a legend. You had to be there at the time to really appreciate. Great video, well done. I wish I had those pics.

Awesome job. That's cool how you have the pictures flicker to give it that look from long ago. One of the sadest songs I ever heard.

Wow--what a voice! I feel sorry for Eddie's girlfriend. I doubt if she ever found another man as cool as Eddie.

I think she probably preferred the personality to the coolness!

I know that they were thinking on making a band together, but Elvis' manager didn't let them...
I guess I found this at Eddie's myspace page... He invited me. hehe
