This is a teardrop on the cheek of history. A moment when the devil smiled and hope died. Yet in this eulogy Teddy was able to bestow a riveting testament in defiance of a blow that devistated the world. That's all we have. And its signifigant. Bravery in battle and great intelligence surround us but fear and shock along with hate outweigh love and compassion.

Those last personal comments, once he finishes quoting Bobby's speech, are absolutely heartbreaking. Anyone who has buried a loved one, and has tried to speak in the immediate moments of grief, will understand the emotion held in that quavering voice. Very moving.
