Got to say that's a top-notch ball. Without Zaheer Khan, the Indian bowling attack looks club-level. The just concluded series in Sri Lanka is a prime example. God bless Sehwag and his match-winning skills with the bat and ball :-)

no, wide arm action, round the wicket for a left armer would bring the ball into the right hander.
for the ball to come in, in the air, pitch and then leave the right hander, it has to reverse swing. and the bowler has to be master of reverse swing to make it do that.

@montychandra I disagree. Wasim's delivery had immense pace and swung away, beating a set batsman. Zaheer's delivery simply held its line and Ponting, being new at the crease, couldn't get behind it.
It didn't just held it's line, if it had just held its line then that would have hit pointing's back leg. The beauty of that delivery was it didn't swing very much and that is actually what knocked pointing over as if it had swing more than that it would have missed off stump.
(about set batsman and unset batsman, so don't forget that pointing is way better than Lamb, and at that time he was in great form as he had a great series just before this 1)
