It is a great temptation for men at times. When I felt I couldn't control my wife's dangerous behavior I slapped her. She drove the car knowing she was a severe epileptic , 3 grand mals per week. We were both sick, and when she out grew me and wanted a divorce I felt a tremendous anxiety. I refused to go postal on her, consciously resisted the homocidal temptation. I've been a much stronger person after that.
