Pure class. Seen them in glasgow in december and thats the 2nd time. 1st time was back in 96 and they are better now than they have ever been. I always wonder why they never got the recognition they deserved!

Superb song from the great 'Strange Kind Of Love' LP. I got into them in 1988 and that LP is timeless and brings back fond memories. I love 'Dogs In The Traffic' too. James is a great singer and fantastic guitarist!

The best song from a songwriting genius... performed beautifully. But not only is he a great writer he also has a unique and haunting voice and yes.... he is one of the best guitarists you will hear... in fact the solos in the concert and the one in Glasgow are all sublime with a great mixture of melody, distortion and downright exemplary phrasing.... Overall a bit of a god then! Why oh why were L&M not an enormous act... travesty!

@CameoWalkin -Yes! is the fantastic James Grant-voice and guitar and Gordon Wilson-drummer,Paul McGeechan-keyboards,Bobby Paterson-bassist,Douglas McIntyre-guitar;even now,both as a soloist with the recent reunion of the group,has a charm exorbitant i am almost 30years making music,but the weather has saved an you see/hear.47years with a beautiful voice that never foils to excite,as his lyrics.Great band!!!

Eden Court Theatre Inverness late 85 or early 86. BBC recorded 5 nights of concerts, different band each night. I was somewhere around the 10th row. Magic.

Love and Money were such an underrated band ! James Grant still records and tours and plays some of the old Love and Money songs.

TFF are not in the same class IMHO !!!!!

...I broke my heart to this album and this song in particular... I fell madly in love with a beautiful girl who, I knew in my heart would never be mine ultimately...We used to listen to this over and over...

It hurt so much, that I have not been able to listen to this song until today - 20 years on!

What a find! Many thanks for posting this. I had the live performance of this from Glasgow School of Art on MP3 but this is different... Prodigiously talented in all departments but it's JG's guitar which gets me... For me Strange Kind of Love is the best album but they are all excellent and I only wish they were still around...sadly bassist Bobby McGeechan died last year but what a legacy to leave... Glasgow strikes again!

Yeah Grant and I think the bass player came from Friends Again and Hipsway. You now know what you've been missing for 22 years. Grant's a magic singer/songwriter/guitarist. As to which of all their LPs is the best I think that it's a close thing between the 1st and 2cd. Try Grant's solo stuff too.
