Have you ever tried automating a dry-erase board? I have always wanted to build a mechanism which would plot a color photo or vector image onto a dry-erase board. It would stick on with suction cups, so as to allow a student to hide the fact that there was any high technology at play.

That is pretty awesome. I always loved Etch A Sketches as a kid. I got pretty good with them (good enough to do curves) but I was always too impatient to do any really decent art.

I used screen door pulleys on my costume too! Since I had the front of my screen as clear for use with a dry erase marker, my wiring became slightly more difficult than what you showed in your video...
