That's true, but at some points even remembering how silly it is some groups of bands simply decide to go further from the 'mainstream' of a music subgenre. So you'll get thrash metal that's actually closer to black metal, so you get Darkened Thrash metal because they are too different to call the same.

Admittedly, somewhere alone the line it got too far - sometimes I see bands and I have no clue what to classify them as because they can fit to like 5 subgenres at once. eg. CoB

@MrPetterpunk Makes it easier to say "I like power metal, or I like prog metal" instead of "I like about .234% of metal bands these days" The subdivisions just clarify what sort of style it is that you like.For instance, these guys are pretty good, but if you like them, you might not like Death, or Slayer.

Awesome band. Im meet some of the guys trough a friend of mine. Very nice group of ppl. The dude who play the bass is also a very good singer for you who don't know that =) Ive had been following them from when they started to play arround my hometown Helsingborg and they have just grown better and better. Is calling someone real bad respecting them? Should I respect people if they can't spell correctly? And what is respect? MTV hasn't earned my respect with the same yelling that passes for music.
