I got the Logitech G35 7.1 surround headset, and the war tapes in game is great, its very noicy its 7.1 surround and it sounds like a real war, if you want regular 5.1 surround go for home cinema, if you got stereo headset and want great sound you should use wi-fi

If you like it like real war ( VERY NOICY) use war tapes.

If you like it less noicy and less effect choose home cinema.

@longmage4 i'm pretty sure you just pick your correct surround sound that is in the headphones and since their either usb or some other connection capable of hifi sound you get your surround sound

@4tun3dBACK Do we have to bring MW2 into every discussion about this game? You're the kind of person that starts all these which-game-is-better arguments.

Also, making sound rebound like this might sound interesting, but it makes it much harder to discern where somebody is at, and what is going on in your environment; It's probably a very simple effect to achieve. The sound in this game is decent, but hardware sound would have a much better effect.

@Isakuma well I still think the audio in this game is better than other games(specially console games), there's also crysis, wich imo had great graphics and audio, but that was on pc....also its obvious that 90% of fps gamers compare bad company 2 with modern warfare 2, even DICE....so its not just me.
