@Darth5Steel i don't think sidious was all that strong, not just cause he was easy to beat in the game, but remember when kreia talked to you about all the sith lords on korriban, or darth plagius, who could cheat death. I think there are more then enough clues stating that the sith got weaker as time progressed and then there are the "true sith" (that's what the sith who live outside the outer rims arre called right?)

Father/Daughter/Son of Mortis>Abeloth>Sidious>Nihilus­>Vitiate.
