  • That is awesome Sean! I don't remember seeing that before although I'm sure I have. Such amazing locos!

  • @itfcsam i wish they would do it again ,, the tractors are best double headed ,, i always remember two on the coal trains out of Severn tunnel Junction

  • Fantastic shame 670 is in storage now!!

  • @jimgti0 i agree ,,they both are classic traction ,,hope they use them again on the weymouth the train was sold out !! lol ,,every seat was taken ,,

  • Lucky, didnt know these went down to weymouth

  • @crazymanlargemarge it was the last day of this summer only service so FGW hired this pair to do it instead of the 67 TnT that normaly hauled this train,, the train was packed !! lol they should do this more often ,, ! its like the good old days !

  • Absolutely epic locos!!!

  • @TheXtremeEnthusiast thanks and i agree 37s will always be the "classic english traction " second to the westerns

  • Amazing tractor action! Hats off the FGW for such a HELFIRE last day of loco operation! What a crank of a driver in 670 leaving Bath! That is just a special departure! 5,000 stars!

  • @87002theBEAST Tractor action some of the best i think ,,he was giving it plenty passing back on the return leg they both shot past tons of thrash and with turbos singing lol ... thanks for your comment ,,:)

  • These are my favourite locos!!!! (37670 and 37401)

  • @richards37basher Good locos ,,they are hellfire double headed !! i seen them both come around the bottom corner and realized they were flying,,,, lol ... and what a noise they were making ,,, they distored the sound track on the video ,,, and my ear drums too .... lol ... thanks for adding a comment :)

  • Now thats my cup of tea ! Is it me or is 670 "chuffing" a bit on one cylinder ? Didnt seem to hold her back though !!!!

  • i was thinking you would like a bit of tractor action,, they did sound a bit rough ! lol ,,(37's) i was told the reason for it was that 401 had macanical injectors ,,but 670 dosnt ,,is that correct ? but they ran well and sounded flippen great !

  • I thought all EE's were mechanical injection with individual pumps on racks, one could be more "on" the throttle than the rest causing the "chuff" and smoke on idle, but less noticeable when working harder ! But youre right, they sounded bloody grand !!

  • im told today in yahoo railgens 401 had gone in today for a overhaul ,

,i thinks its gonna be a red one !

  • Nice video... Well filmed. 5*

  • cheers muse fan,, great group muse ,,love em my self !!

  • oh, now we germans are in england, too :D very nice video, maybe you might take a look into mine

  • not sure about the colour of the DB locos in England .. i filmed in germany and austria and they are a depper red ,,that looks better im certain the paint is the wrong colour ,,what do you think ? who better to ask than you ! :) ok thanks ill take a look at your videos now

  • well, i think it is really a deeper red. but if they are old, they look like this :D

  • The DB has invaded England!! The EWS livery on the second locomotive is based on the Wisconsin Central colours in the USA. Ironically the WC Railway was sold to the Canadian National. Wisconsin Central owns railways outside the USA.

  • hi train brain ,, i never expected to ever see our locos in DB ,,but i supose that corprate ownership for you atleast these loco get a fresh lick of paint and get to see more time on the rails ,,nice railway the WC ,,
