  • yo mate how you get your power valve to kick in mate ?? like what rpm do you have to be at and do you have to drop a gear or anything ?

  • @SaxoEnergy power valve will open up at about 6500rpm

  • @dtrrider1 ok mate awesome whats the best gear to be in to get it going 3rd ??

  • @SaxoEnergy Any gear, the power valve will open even in neutral if you rev it past 6500.

  • @SaxoEnergy Also something I noticed on your DTR review, your valve opening sounded a little sluggish. It might be worth taking it apart (it's only a couple of allen bolts) and giving it a good clean. They get gunged up pretty fast because of all the exhaust crap.

  • @dtrrider1 ok mate il have a look at it tomorrow mate anything i should be aware of mate when opening it ??

  • @SaxoEnergy Remember how you took it out, because it's possible to turn it 180 degrees and it will be the wrong way up.

  • i hope you pre ordered your coffin pal, you will need it soon !!

  • haha my nsr would fuck u over mate that acceleration was wank

  • @Kris0203 doubtful.

  • @Kris0203 i agree mate nsr 125 engine is that fastest 125 2 stroke u can get in a road bike, i have a honda crm 125 they also have the nsr engine in, i got 104 mph out of my bike there rapid

  • @messege2010 yeah man i got mine about 3 weeks ago and love it and i'm not saying dtr125's are slow for a 125 they're probably one of fastest ones as well but i reckon nsr is faster :D. the fastest 125s are suzuki rg though i think. not tested top speed yet but got a solid 80mph in 5th gear xD.

  • @messege2010 the nsr prob are the quickest 125s i sat on the moterway beside an aprilla 125 and it was doing 110 well thats what my speedo was saying

  • cagiva mito grey import fastest

  • @osainsbury I would love one of those

  • @osainsbury ok

  • How much did you spend on that thing altogether? Cos you may aswell of just got your full bike license and got a 600 or something :L

  • @Ralphclayton About £2500 I guess. I already have a full bike license and no interest in getting another bike.

  • @Ralphclayton Oh, and my friend just got rid of his 600cc BMW bike, I think it cost around £6500 brand new. He got a dt125 instead. =)

  • @dtrrider1 Yeah they are nice bikes and quick for what they are but personally i prefer the cheaper option of a 600 thats quicker even at 33bhp :O

  • @Ralphclayton Generally I don't go faster than 65-70mph anyway, so a bigger bike is somewhat wasted on me. 600 or 125 there wouldn't be much difference in my journey times.

I do a bit of offroad riding too, so I prefer the light weight of the dt125, very much so at slower speeds while offroading. I'd never go up to 600 for a trial bike, 350-400 maximum, purely because of the weight.

    Then a 350 isn't an awful lot faster than 125. Why don't they make a 400 2-stroke? I'd be all over that =)

  • @dtrrider1 I'm pretty sure you can get an NSR 400 mate :-) I was looking at 1 a few years back. Deffo a 2 stroke aswell!!

  • @brad1982100 those types of bike are not for me I'm afraid. I dont ride anything but a trial bike, I go offroad and like to have a more comfortable / agile ride.

  • Fucking accident waiting to happen.

  • slowest fucking overtakes ever and no wheelies? faggot

  • @deathmetaldude468 'cause wheelies are like so amazing cool, amirite?

    Fail troll.

  • Turbo.... sounds mint mate :| lol

  • That was pretty wank pal. Stop trying to impress people with your "crazy" and "dangerous" riding skills because you don't seem to have much skill at all and id be surprised if you don't die trying to show off.

  • @littlegrizzlybiggins That's nice to know, can you link to the parts which lack skill so I can improve my riding?

  • @dtrrider1 Sure, its from 0:0 to 0:18

  • @littlegrizzlybiggins Thanks, I didn't expect you to explain in such detail, I thought you were trying impress other youtubers by dissing my vid. Sorry about that.

Maybe you can review my other vids and show me the parts that were lacking skill? Perhaps some personal riding training from yourself would improve my skills.

  • @dtrrider1 if you would like to see some proper motorcycle skill, search for "stu pid riding" those guys are off the chain good.

As for personal training, It probably would improve your skills and make you a faster, safer rider. No point being fast if your dead eh?

  • @littlegrizzlybiggins how was that dangerous ? i call that fun ... you buzz killing troller .......... dtrrider1 its an awsome bike and its fast as fuuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @chrissyracer You do that in front of a cop car and ill put a grand on it that they will pull you over.

We've all overtaken between cars like he's doing here but it is very dangerous because, if the oncoming vehicle doesn't move over, or if the car you're overtaking moves over to the centre line, you are dead.

  • @littlegrizzlybiggins i think im a grand up then , i wouldnt let them catch me 4 start ,,, im shure ur right we can be killed but its worth the risk, y not pop a wheelie on the way past ?

  • @chrissyracer its a 125cc, the police would be able to catch you in one of the old fezzys they used to use...

  • Turbo? LOL. Ur "bike" is lame.

  • @Totatu2 better than your bike. Owned.

  • @dtrrider1 lol shit bike

  • @Totatu2 how is this bike lame its aweosme

  • @SaxoEnergy There's no turbo and it's slow ass hell. What's "aweosme"?

  • @SaxoEnergy well no is not really "aweosme" at all is it? Its a DTR 125 (or DT125R) to be precise, maybe in its day,15 years ago! it'll no doubt be in a breakers yard as a crash damaged in the near future

  • @mozer30 Not awesome? Hmm.

DT 125r, voted best 125cc bike in a popular motorbike mag (google it). Most reliable engine, best looking (even the 15 yr old ones) and one of the fastest 125's about.

A good 10-15 year old DT 125's will still go for upwards of £2000.

So yea, actually it is awesome.

  • @dtrrider1 well no not really,a RD500..CR500.. GSXR 1000..R1..Hayabusa..ZX10R's and ALL bikes along those lines are truely Awesome!..........not a DTR......you only think a DTR is awesome when you've not rode anything more than a 50

  • @dtrrider1 finding a good 10- 15 year old one is like findin rocking horse shit, so no wonder they go for so much- most are 'field bikes' witht he engine and frame numbers filed down

  • @mr420B Yea my mate just bought one exactly the same as mine, but his frame number is filed down, he didn't check before buying lol.

Still rides it around though, I guess it's not very often that the police / MOT people check the numbers. I would try sell it and find another though.

  • @dtrrider1 ooohh shit! the one thing everyone dreads! iv been to a few MOT places that do check, i guess the thing to do is just shop around and find one that doesnt and go back there every year! and nah the police wont check it unless its still got the same plates on lol
