Just some suggestions: If you're going to have two magazines clamped together, try to make sure that they're set at the same height; it can hinder the use of the bolt catch/release (even though it's already hard enough to reach with the extra mag). Also, getting a more forward grip on the handguard helps stablize the rifle for accuracy. Hope you keep learning how to shoot!

Recoil buffer is the return spring assembly for cycling the bolt carrier. There isn't a difference in felt recoil between full auto and semi. Same round different rate of fire doesn't increase recoil. You don't know shit. I don't give a fuck if you can strip an ar or not.
By the way .22lr has zero felt recoil. You just contradicted your first statement which was that the ar has no recoil. Now you say it clearly does. make up your mind.

@biancasantini I think you did okay. For one you are shooting outdoors and the .223 caliber does not make a whole lot of noise. You were also carefull not to point the rifle at anybody. You kept your finger off the trigger until you aimed at something first which showed gun safety. Gun safety is the most important part of shooting. Just keep practicing with your friend its alot of fun and might come in usefull one day. Your cool girlfriend who tries new things even if little scary.
