We have big murals of whales on buildings here, stores devoted to whales and sea mammals by Wyland, look it up, dedicated to them We have day cruises to go whale watching and we love them here and are more then disgusted by the thought of eating such greatness. Banning GE food is a good move! GE foods are harmful to humans, they reduce variation within the species which is necessary for survival. And if you had any idea what you are talking about then you would realise that GM foods after experiencing an initial boom in food production, needed stacks of chemicals to produce food- leading to decreased food production when the insects developed resistence to these chemicals. Actually if you did any research you would realise that IMF/WB structural adjustment programs which demanded that GE crops were introduced has lead to levels of mal- nutrition around the developing world- specifically in places like the Phillapines and Africa where monocultural cropping practices lead to reduced diet variation. So the only people it has benefited are people like YOU who can now afford to buy food artifically cheaply- have you realised that famines still exist?
