They didn't hate each other....Donna Reed was dissapointed when she was signed to play Jimmy Stewart's wife in The Stratton Story and Jimmy turned her down saying that Wonderful Life wasn't a success because of their chemistry.

@PhillyDippy5 And the reason for this is because he never starred in a movie that contained profanity or sex scenes. The movies he starred in were moral, clean and without profanity and sex. Those were the days, and it is too bad that hollywood won't stop shoving their crap down our throats that they put out, now. No wonder America is in the shape its in. People don't realize what this country was once like.

@IwshIcldstrtover Tell me about that, i know what you're talking about, it's very sad when things go down and what once they were like will not be like that anymore. That's the reason why i'm historian, because i never could stand with things when they change from good to bad, my main aim in this life is to no forget how were the things what i once knew and, of course, to know the good things that i couldn't know because i wasn't born yet, and Jimmy Stewart is one of those.
