Guys, this video is old. This was back in February when the Broadway show wasn't even in previews yet. When they recorded this, it was only a few weeks after the cast was casted. Look at more recent videos, they sound amazing!

West end has too many talented casting directors/producers who actually have their mind in making a good show for people to watch and not for bucket loads of cash, the only reason they took it to broadway is because one of the producers ears pricked up when they heard it was doing well in England, quite frankly New york often doesn't have that to offer, apart from that it's never easy to translate something that works amazing on stage to moving camera!

I'm sure the West End and Broadway are just as good. Hearing Katie sing that part on video clips is nothing like hearing her sing it live. She was my favourite thing about the London show.

i saw the West End, and they were amazing. I still think they were better somewhat vocally, but I do love the extra energy that the slight change in choreography is shown in Broadway. Just watch their performance in the Tony Awards!

The UK Cast was NOT! You cannot judge a Broadway show from the a show T.V. version of the song! Patina is obviously saving herself for the actual show. I saw the show and she is better than she was in London! So was Mary Robert. You can't judge a whole show by an appearence on T.V.

I see a lot of people saying the UK version of this was much better, which could be seeing as I haven't seen the show live yet (on West End or Broadway,) BUT I hope people aren't making that judgement based on a performance on THE VIEW.

Listen. Marla Mindelle (Sister Mary Robert) is on of the fierecest musical theatre actresses out there. She's a wonderful actress and has one of the most felxible voice ranges out there. Not only his her belting absolutely incredible or soprano head voice and whistele range are just as strong. Sh'e incredibly versatile and i can almost promise you that no one can do that belt as well as she can. Just saying.

Agree with what everyone else is saying. The London cast was SO much better. Some notes here were REALLY sharp! Also Agree with what people are saying about Mary Robert and Mary Lazarus. Normally actors on Broadway do it better than London by far but this seems to be an exception to the rule.

I know that they've only just started rehearsals and all that, but I found that extremely painful to listen to. Patina doesn't seem to have the energy that she had in London and everything in general was bad!! Katie Rowley Jones and Claire Greenway are a million times better. I really hope for the sake of the show it gets better.

They dont open till the end of march, so give them a bit of slack. Plenty of time for them to get it up to speed and find their characters.

I LOVE sister act the musical, but Patina sounds really vocally worn out here :/ Not sure if it's a wise choice doing a major stint on the West End to begin another on Broadway - look what happened to Julie Andrews. The whole cast sound very dissappointing so far :/ but it's still early days :) They'll probs be whipped into shape by opening night

Brilliant, except that Sister Mary Robert's mic was set slightly too loud and was unbalanced from everyone else.... but it was still fooking awesome!
