u can find cactuar in this prison in the desert (they give serious amount of gold after a battle),  but not the jumbo ones (in ff8 yes, it was even a summon). Nice mod dude, next time use final attack + summon phoenix it revives all pt.

Yeah it's pretty pointless to have hp over 9999, just because you can doesn't mean you should, you should adjust the atk/def amount of the enemy to the proportioned amount. A good battle maker doesn't rely on those things unless he wants to force a *long battle* (otherwise its pretty pointless) and can successfully make an epic AI that's just as hard without resorting to spamming giant hp loss attacks too. Sorry, but there is no staying power here, no genuine creativity. Good start though.

Are you trying to criticize my mod? These vids where meant to show some of the new enemies, to discover 'em and their AI is up to the player. The HP limit patch isn't mandatory in my mod.

If you absolutely want to keep the damage and HP "low" and still keep it somewhat hard throughout the game you'll need to alter every enemies AI epically at some point. When I decided to make this I kinda had to limit myself due to time.

I kinda took it as criticism, however I don't believe any of you guys actually have seen it's stats or it's AI. In this vid I don't even try to defeat it. I do, however, try to trigger some attacks.

Even if you play without the HP/MP/damage limit break my mod still is quite balanced. The cheapest part of it is that HP can be 30000. But even that can be adjusted with the patch to limit it to 9999. And the HP/MP break patch is not included in my mod. The player decides what to include.

There is a 'hack' that lets you do it. I wouldn't really call it a hack as it isn't giving you any benefits but the ability to have over 9999 hp/mp.

I'd say it does give you a benefit, depends if you're playing a mod of the game that utilizes the new values or not, if you play the normal game you will inflict way more damage per attack, making it easier!

Thats correct. But I tried 10000 needles, though 0xFF is the max you can have with a power modifier. Well, I could make it effect twice to do 10000.
