It's not overpowered as it's hard to master. Most of the pyros out there are just hurrdurr w+m1 backburners, which can be dealt with quite easily. Just keep your distance.

Well, there isn't any other class that can go invisible / disguise as other people and 1hit kill every single class, and still you didn't say the spy is overpowered. Because it isn't.

The Pyro excels in some ways. Every class does. It's basically like tiers, as much as I hate comparing it like that. The number of advantages the Pyro can get on his opponent is generally lesser then the other way around.

In other words, there's never an occasion in which the Pyro can do something no other class can to a point in which most people would consider overpowered.

My main reasoning for thinking the pyro is overpowered, is because I see so many situations in which it can get kills extremely easily.

I mean, there is a reason why people go pyro when they are frusterated with the game.

I guess I just see it as being extremely easy to get kills with. Plus, it can reflect absolutely anything that isn't a tracer bullet.

That's just my opinion, though. I guess it's just frustrating that someone can run into a place and light everyone on fire, and half die.

I can say the same things about the demo, soldier, and heavy.

Most new players can get easy kills with these classes, by spamming w+m1 at enemies as well.

That's not to say that skilled players don't give a totally different play style...

Look at the top three offensive classes (Demoman, Scout, and Soldier)-- what do they all have in common? They are all far more mobile than any other class in the game. A good roaming soldier can move faster and farther than even the scout with rocketjumps and walljumps while the Demoman can stickyjump to get good positioning when needed.

Also, anything a pyro can do, the big 3 can do better. Rocket juggling > CB combos any day. Simply put, the pyro has low mobility and doesn't scale with skill.
