I dont think I denied anything. It happens, but I cannot help but notice that you guys always blame the stock contractor. You might not have read it since it is in two diffrent comments. Bottom line while these are wonderful animals they are just livestock. Besides work and food they serve no purpose. There are several "retirement ranches" for old stock, maybe you ought to go and see how well they are taken care of. Either way it is a mute point with extremist such as your group.
How do you assume those are the stock contractors? Rough stock events are scored on a hundred point scale, with half of those points belonging to the stock. The less the animals performs the lower the overall score of the ride. Anyone of those riders could have a buddy on the chute to do that for a better ride, doesnt have to be the contractor.
That is a shock prod. It is just a smaller version of what you are use to seeing. I know that your going to say that they are hiding it because it is illegal to shock animals, but it is not illegal, they are using a small shocker because not everyone wants to see an animal shocked. It gets blown way out of whack, and made into a big deal. Fact is these animals have very thick skin and cause more damage to each other kicking and hooking each other when it is feeding time.

I am an avid rodeo competitor. What is happening in these videos is creul, no question. But you should understand that this mans actions does not reflect the acitions of the entire rodeo community. Also the people who handle the bulls are usually the owners or work for the owners. The only form of abuse going on here is with that guy's personal livestock. This is also a rare occurance. In all my rodeos not often do bulls get shocked.

When I was riding I could enter two rodeos a weekend and never have to travel more than two hundred miles or leave the state. Usually I had 4-5 rodeos to choose from each weekend. Most rodeos are at least two days and most are three or more. That means in just a 200 mile radious you could find about 15-20 rodeo performances in one weekend. Probably a lot more rodeos out there than you thought. You better put in a little overtime if you are going to stop all of them.

Now there are cowboys making over a million in a season(1 year). That money is coming from fans through sponsors and television. The NFR is ten straight nights at the Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas and it sells out a year in advance. The prca has 39 major rodeos in september alone and sept. is a slow month.
Just found an article in sports Illistrated about the prca. The prca sanctions over 650 rodeos a year. These rodeos draw over 24 million people. Now that doesn't count high school and college rodeos. It doesn't count amature rodeos. It doesn't count the pbr which is bigger than the prca in attendence. It doesn't count roping only events. Rodeo is bigger than you think.
Also, the state's attorney stated that he couldn't prosecute because the corrupt Illinois Department of Agriculture didn't provide identities of suspects. Of course, the rodeo thugs are hiding like the cowards they are. God, you people are pitiful.

How do you assume those are the stock contractors? Rough stock events are scored on a hundred point scale, with half of those points belonging to the stock. The less the animals performs the lower the overall score of the ride. Anyone of those riders could have a buddy on the chute to do that for a better ride, doesnt have to be the contractor.

That is a shock prod. It is just a smaller version of what you are use to seeing. I know that your going to say that they are hiding it because it is illegal to shock animals, but it is not illegal, they are using a small shocker because not everyone wants to see an animal shocked. It gets blown way out of whack, and made into a big deal. Fact is these animals have very thick skin and cause more damage to each other kicking and hooking each other when it is feeding time.

I have shock prods. None of them say anywhere that you should never use them on horses. They have just a s moch voltage as a hot wire fence, and everyone has one for there horse. I am not denying anything here. It is a shocking device and it is being use in a rodeo, which is perfectly legal. PRCA rules say that you can use a shocker on an animals hip or neck. That is where he is shocking the animals in this video.

I am an avid rodeo competitor. What is happening in these videos is creul, no question. But you should understand that this mans actions does not reflect the acitions of the entire rodeo community. Also the people who handle the bulls are usually the owners or work for the owners. The only form of abuse going on here is with that guy's personal livestock. This is also a rare occurance. In all my rodeos not often do bulls get shocked.

When I was riding I could enter two rodeos a weekend and never have to travel more than two hundred miles or leave the state. Usually I had 4-5 rodeos to choose from each weekend. Most rodeos are at least two days and most are three or more. That means in just a 200 mile radious you could find about 15-20 rodeo performances in one weekend. Probably a lot more rodeos out there than you thought. You better put in a little overtime if you are going to stop all of them.

You don't need to read a poll. Just take a look at what rodeo is doing. Ten years ago the top cowboys were making maybe a million in there career(10-20 years). Now there are cowboys making over a million in a season(1 year). That money is coming from fans through sponsors and television. Rodeo attracks more people than any other sport in the U.S. Every little town across the country has a rodeo and the numbers add up.

Shark I don't listen to announcers. I actually go to these rodeos and watch. The PBR sells out huge arenas all over the country every weekend. The NFR is ten straight nights at the Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas and it sells out a year in advance. The prca has 39 major rodeos in september alone and sept. is a slow month.

Just found an article in sports Illistrated about the prca. The prca sanctions over 650 rodeos a year. These rodeos draw over 24 million people. Now that doesn't count high school and college rodeos. It doesn't count amature rodeos. It doesn't count the pbr which is bigger than the prca in attendence. It doesn't count roping only events. Rodeo is bigger than you think.
