One of the best looking male models if not the most gorgeous - David Gandy has a very prominent nose. It doesn't detract from his amazing look whatsoever. In fact it adds to his masculine beauty.

Generally, a small nose will tend to feminize a mans face and make him less appealing. A man needs a strong nose with a high bridge that has a slight convexity or subtle irregularity on the bridge. ( more natural) It enhances his masculinity as far as facial appearance is concerned.

I broke my nose horribly when I was a kid. My parents didn't even take me to the doctor. 23 years later I finally had surgery.

I think his nose was fine before.
What was actually creating his and perhaps others perception that his nose stuck out too much is an optical illusion
perpetrated by a weak chin.
A very subtle or no reduction at all of his nose tip combined with a chin enlargement would have yielded a more overall hamonoius facial result.
