To the guy that says you have to be born and bred in Ireland to be IRISH well that is a load of croc, I was born and bred in Canada, but my mom and dad were both from Ireland, well being raised with them and with all our family still in Ireland and going over there every other year for Holiday. And having alot of friends that were Irish here in Canada. Well I may be Canadian but in my heart I will always be Irish And Ireland will always be back home to me.
Although I'm not 100% of Irish descent, most of my ancestors came from Ireland during the 19th century (yes, I have birth certificates et al documents as proof). I was brought up in a poor traditional Irish household here in the Boston area of Massachusetts.
Many people have pointed out the fact that I'm Irish, just upon first meeting me and not knowing my family history. I look like a mick.

To the guy that says you have to be born and bred in Ireland to be IRISH well that is a load of croc, I was born and bred in Canada, but my mom and dad were both from Ireland, well being raised with them and with all our family still in Ireland and going over there every other year for Holiday. And having alot of friends that were Irish here in Canada. Well I may be Canadian but in my heart I will always be Irish And Ireland will always be back home to me.

I couldn't agree with you more!
Although I'm not 100% of Irish descent, most of my ancestors came from Ireland during the 19th century (yes, I have birth certificates et al documents as proof). I was brought up in a poor traditional Irish household here in the Boston area of Massachusetts.
Many people have pointed out the fact that I'm Irish, just upon first meeting me and not knowing my family history. I look like a mick.
So, I would say definitely say I am Irish.

Don't meet too many Canadian refugees. And this song is Australian, but I bet the Irish got no problem claiming it as their own.

In New Orleans they have the Italian Irish Festival. That celebrates both heritages. :)
