funny thing is... after so many years, and growing up, i still remember all the things to do, the methods to get the sunstone multiple times, and the special side quests for all of them too. AND I WAS ONLY 7 YEARS OLD! i played it in '98 too lol. games nowadays revolve around graphics, not story... *cry*

You can play either this one or the SNES if you want to start. This one have a couple of extras ( 2 more dungeons if i recall, aswell with an item/monsters/spell enciclopedia to collect ) But you should really play them, it's a Masterpiece

Yes I always prefer cut scenes and intros/endings to be rendered and animated exactly like the main gameplay. It's a bit jarring switching between hand drawn animation and clear and sharp pixel art. That said I still like this, Chrono Trigger would make a great anime series but it doesn't fit in the game.
