  • will it run crysis at 90 fps?

  • Fucking ads in front of videos. The popup ones are bad enough, but these "Real" ads - I'm about to give up on YouTube... Thumbs up if you fucking hate those ads in front of the vids...

  • @VauxhallViva1975 Install AdBlocker on your browser.

  • This is useless. Drop the music.

  • This music keeps me hooked. forget the video, this track go me.

  • @liztings don't forget the video...but remember the video with the music..is a geek hip-hop music sort of! lol

  • can overclock it?

  • i think so, but i never try it! maybe someone can answer this if they already try...comments, pls

  • @pereaelguapo Overclocking isn't worth it on this. Wait for 64 bit ARM A15, that will start with 8 cores and 3.5 GH. That if you want to go past 3.9, you will need a fan on the A15(2013), too bad they have it, but won't sell till 2013.

  • @Justinba1010 A15 and 64 bit are two different things. A15 is superscalar-pipelined core for more power and again comes with 32-bits (v7 arch) I have not come across any core including A15 at 3.5GHz. It is promised at max 2GHz. Where did you get this information?

  • But the audio works? Thanks

  • @SuperDamiano90 yes of course...

  • That sure is an awesome board, mate. Hook some usb hubs and the sky's a limit :D

  • like Data in western hologram you make pc out of wood and stone.

  • For the third world, this is fantastic. We need to make it smaller, smaller cheap computers that are 80s level power will still revolutionize the world.

  • ooooooooh... I think I'm gonna get one of these next time I get a student loan... maybe I'll get 2 and hook them up to my laptop and try to make a little beowulf cluster with the three of them... I think these little RISC ARM processors are going to surpass pentium architecture eventually... I mean, they already have in some ways.

  • win

  • 20.000th viewer!!!

  • @TelisRafa Congrats! and thanks to all that comment so far...

  • now put it in a altoids tin

  • damn it has a hdmi too? can it run full hd movies or at least 720p's?

  • wow, pretty annoying music. I hate it when ppl do that. TALK! EXPLAIN WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!!

  • @tenchidbz If you dont get what hes doing ur pretty fucking stupid

  • Nice video!

Do you think i can use beagleboard to connect multiple sonar sensors, GSP module and GSM module, too?

  • @Gi0Roc Of course...they provide usb interface, and for that reason you can append what sensor/actuator you want...in my case i add a usb wireless, but can be connected to a smart house system. As desktop, isn't so good, but as service server, this things are very low profile and powerful enough for the task. every day new models/configurations arrive...just look at smart devices evolution, in the past 2 years

  • hey isn't usb a 5v power source you could mod it to use usb as power and use it as a tv computer

  • WOOOW Is it GOOD for a LOW POWER SERVER ?

  • @mptrax it depends which server services you want provide...but plug computers and this kind of embedded board are becoming more powerful and cheaper...and don't ear a thing..because don't come with any air vent

  • @PequenoGrandeViking Hombre you are right. I just need a *cheap* web server . But I'd like to use BSD instead linux. Can you give me more info abt it ? Gracias.

  • @mptrax for me sheevaplug is good for that, and is possible to put BSD into, with some unofficial steps...search for FreeBSD 8.0 Plug Computer Distribution. And BTW i am portuguese, not spanish...;) Hombre = Homem and Gracias = Obrigado

  • @PequenoGrandeViking Obrigado ! I would like to use NetBSD 5.1 (current), and use some kind of external disk (usb?). I am searching but anyway. have you some useful links ? What king of B.B. I need ?

  • @mptrax i am not expertise in this matter, but try to search by Installer NetBSD sur un Sheevaplug (arm). it gives a installation steps for sheevaplug, in french, but we are all european, and for sure understand all european languages. if not, google translator... maybe someone already done those and post here...good luck

  • @mptrax FreeBSD has an embedded version which provides most of the functionality. Go to freebsd.org I hope that helps

  • @PequenoGrandeViking thinks he means like a home server/nas which is what i was thinking

  • This board hace PWM outputs?or analog outputs?

  • @diegonimus hi, i am not the hardware beagleboard guy, but it seem that it provides PWM output via OMAP expansion header. U can read more on elinux.org/BeagleBoardPWM. hope thats help...

  • kid cudi - the sky might fall

  • The plug computer is better in my opinion. It's faster, cheaper, and when compared to a Beagleboard + powersupply + housing it's nearly the same size.

  • @nxadmon the problem with plug computers is the interface with users, that doesn't exist, or can be made using third-part adapters. One is more server side applications, and the other more end-user, by providing hdmi port and other robotic possibilities to expand. Exist solutions out there for all our projects and crazy ideas... ;)

  • Nice! I need to get one of these for my own robotics/ cnc projects! Is it difficult to install linux on one of these?

  • @123PSI No...just need to install one image on SD card, and see if the BIOS load from it. check on the web fro "beagleboard install ubuntu" for more details.

  • Sure takes forever to boot!
