Why WinCE? It's very limiting platform. Linux would be a much better choice of OS.

Wrong. Embedded linux is far more limited than Windows CE on an ARM device.

People confuse linux ubuntu to Embedded linux.

CE has a HUGE selection of applications out there even if it isn't obvious for normal users, while linux embedded has *cough* none or a few.

this one looks pretty nice, is the WinCE license fee included in the $150 price? I have heard from many of my business partners that the Chinese maker Uni-V do pretty nice digital picture frames, is this the same Uni-V?
