I'm curious if that tree cutter is an electric or hybrid? This obviously looks like a tree plantation that does more responsible wood harvesting, so I'm curious what they're gas/oil dependencies are with machinery like this. Anyone know?

amazing... gotta love tree farming... these trees are farm @ a year cycled because the wood created from it is stronger than using older natural forested lumber. sure it may be logging, but its smart logging, allow them to simply use a monitored and maintained area to grow/regrow and harvest wood.

I agree, this is obviously a tree plantation. And this is a really great method. They are only taking the wood, and leaving the nutrient dense foliage and outer bark/phloem as mulch on the ground when the trees are harvested. Not a bad method.
