labs are great with kids our lab is kinda a big brother to my friends baby who will be a year in november and our lab will be 2 in november their a year apart almost by 2 weeks
My Lab probably wouldnt hurt a burgalar....but if a chipmunk farted in our backyard in the middle of the night my lab would bark until I told her its all good...then shes go back to sleep

As long as the kid isn't hitting him, poking him in the eye, or sticking his fingers in his nose then it's all good. Labs take the rest all in stride just make sure you give them LOTs of walks and treats for it.
@drewrg He yawned because he's stressed at the situation. The kid is just having fun but the dog doesn't like it, but he's a good dog and knows he shouldn't bite the kid.
