yeah first solo polor opposite of first, that was just probably close to the wildest you can get with a bass i would take someone who could play both ways
That would be Stanley Clarke...the "guitarist you're referring to is probably one of the best rock bassists (if not the best) on this big blue marble...This wasn't one of his best improvs, just check out his stuff with Steve Vai in the Live at the Astoria London DVD...
He really is phenominal, he's got without a doubt the most tasteful and melodic solo in this whole video. The thing is, he really doesn't overplay - at all. His work in RHCP is, if anything, understated and untalented, at least compared to his real potential. He's got some MAD chops and, unlike half of the bassists up their, actually has taste in what notes he plays.
got to agree with you there. Flea played in a way i've never really seen before, and it was brilliant, didn't overplay and his solo sounded beautifull.
yeah i thought his was the best, it fit the song, he didn't just slap really fast or play as many note as he possibly could, he found a groove, expanded it, re-found it, expanded it again and that's all. It works.
I love it ! it's wonderfull ! there are solo I don't like...but flea was really good ! his solo sound really in harmony with the song ( i dont know if you understand what I mean, my english is bad xD)
このメンバーで堂々とするのは普通に難しいと思うよ。

フリー引っ込み過ぎ・・・もっと堂々としていても良いと思うが・・あと、ドラマーはスチュワート・コープランドだよねぇ?

Sheehan's got some of the worst pinch harmonics I've ever seen...
I totally love billy, but that's not his strong suit.
