  • awesome set :D

  • Beautiful visualization work, very realistic renderings.

  • NICE!

    what programs do you use?

im particularly interested in what program you used to model the 'thermo-folded chair'

  • @storm7052 thanks for your comment. I used rhino + v-ray fot this chair

  • @manulaffon i used to use 3ds max to model and render my products in but now i use google sketchup to model, and 3ds to render. was rhino easy to learn? because im thinking of getting a new modelling software. so far, ive used; sketchup, max, solidworks, inventor. and they just arnt built for product design. i was wondering if there was one you could recommend for me?

  • @storm7052 I would recommend Rhino or Alias Studio without hesitations. These are truly build for industrial design purposes and you will be way happier with those. I personally prefer Rhino over Alias (easier to learn) but this is really a matter of taste. Good luck!

  • @manulaffon thanks man. i guess rhino will be my next investment then. how did you learn how to create all the products? tutorials? or did you self teach?

  • @storm7052 mostly self teaching, but tutorials won't hurt. if I were you I would just go ahead and try to model a project of mine. You will learn while doing it. Also Rhino has a free trial

  • @manulaffon hi, got rhino the other day. been having a lot of fun with it and its exactly what i want (glad i finally found a CAD program that i am comfortable with!) i downloaded vray for rhino and tried rendering a vray material with it. it worked but it was extremely 'grainy'. i exported the file and rendered it in 3ds max with vray and it worked perfectly with no grain. is there anyway to get the same result in rhino?

  • @storm7052 Hi, sorry I have nearly zero experience with v-ray for rhino, I always used v-ray in a 3Ds Max environment. I am sure there must be a way to get exactly the same result in Rhino. Even though all the renderings you see in my video were made in v-ray, I since converted to another rendering software : Keyshot. If your primary use is industrial design, I would really give it a shot. It is really easy to handle.

  • i wish to become a automotive design, but im still in high school. last year to be exact. are there chances of me being able to design cars voluntarily for car companies, even without the university/college education? or do i have to wait till i get to that point to start showing my work? do you have any tips on being a successful automotive designer? its my dream! i just hope i get somewhere with this hobby of mine

  • nice!

  • Excuse me What is the software make animation?? It looks great~

  • Excuse me~what is th software make animation?? It looks great~

  • I have to get back into product design again. Got a BA in it and the games industry is going to suffer badly in the coming years so its definitely the place to be

  • what program do you use to render your stuff is it hypershot?

  • hey, i have to say, the last ring is fucking amazing! i think u are my type of industrial designer, more art oriented, very inspiring!

  • hey your work is amazing! i am aspiring to go into industrial design also. if its not to much trouble can i ask you wat is the best program for rendering?

  • Thanks for your comment. In the video you see, I used mostly V-Ray which was the best program for rendering 2-3 years ago (and is still very good). What I use now is Bunkspeed Hypershot who provides same quality rendering but much faster. It is also much easier to handle, especially for a beginner. This is your best bet for Industrial Design, for sure. Good luck!

  • @manulaffon It's Great ! May i link this Video in my blog?
