hello greetings, buy HP Pavilion g4, pre-installed Windows 7 Starter, which is too simple, and look for a cereal and I could upgrade to ultimate, one day I found a system called windows8 download and install it, but it is in English, which do not quite understand and are not registered and I can not install the updates, so I can not switch to Spanish and try to restore the factory system, but disappeared recovery Manager, please re-install and recovery Manager?
I have a different issue with my hp pavilion that hasn't fixed for three years. I've finally decided that I am brutally going to bash the crap out of my laptop and post it on youtube sometime at the end of the year..... ooooohhh and I might post a vlog about hp pavilion laptops.
Same crap for me with the wifi, I called them and demanded a refund or a new wifi card. I got a card in the mail in two days. The cooling fan died in no time flat and now it whines, sputters, is very noisy ( for years now :) I guess if I want to use it was a back up computer I need to get a new fan. HP can go fuck themselves, assholes. My Alienware has never failed, ever.
Not that this relates but I heard of a guy in the company that was trying to get sexual favors from one of his subordinate female employees. Maybe that's what was keeping the company busy.
This sucks! I had gotten the black screen twice in the past, while the computer was on. Now, I got a new motherboard (got it repaired through geek squad). The computer finally ran, booted, and took me to my desktop. But 10 minutes later, it shut down on me giving me a blue screen. Same blinking of caps & numb locks, except now the blinking is at 4, pause, then 4 again. Before, it was continuously just blinking. I'm so upset because my dad got me this to replace my toshiba laptop which also fried
When they refuse to fix the problem caused to million onsumers, because of their faulty material, they can keep the money they took from us, and kiss them goodbuy.
Thanks God, competition offer much better products, and respect customers.
Fuck HP laptops, we consulted the after-sale services, they don't fucking care about my Pavillion dv2000. fucking videocard destroyed again and again during fix several times.
@liutonglu1984 i know right.... hp sucks. although.... my dv2000 is in real good condition never had a problem with it and i had it for about 4years.. also i made a downgrade to windows xp and now its hella fast.... the internet websites literally only take about 1-2 seconds to load. where as when i had vista it would freeze up a lot... it also used to overheat to the point where i could burn myself touching some areas but now its gotten pretty cool somehow...
jajajaja hp like laptop sucks also pc. isnt really hp, because they moobo is hanstar. also dell, sony, acer etc. the dv7 n dv4 use the same mobo jal50 by hanstar. also the acer 5315 n dell inspiron.
I bought a HP DV4-1041tx 2008/2009 christmas and the heap of crap gave me nothing but problems. HP is such a shitty company and should be shutdown. All products they make are faulty and cheap, I just bought a Macbook Pro 13" and love it! Never buy a HP they are simply unreliable!
It's not just the wireless card that is causing trouble. HP laptops have multiple issues because bad designs. Overheating is a issue with these systems. They also are very susceptible to heat damage when they do get hot. When overheating occurs, they have multiple problems that are difficult to pin down. Black screen is one common example.
i have an h.p. zd8000 and wow it has great great problems starting from the LCD down to the most smallest integrated circuits but my main prob is my panel monitor that have fucking vertical lines

If your HP Pavilion notebook has Intel® PRO/Wireless adaptor you may download the latest driver from this page downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19325
ti seems to Fix the problem , whatever the problem was. I was really frustraded and upset, I even bought a wireless usb adaptor , but my internal adaptor seems to work fine after the driver update, so, I am going to let it work for a few weeks and return the usb adaptor since i have 30 days to return it.
My dumb @#%@ bought 2 dv9000 from HP. I now have the black screen issue with one of them. I contacted customer support and updated this and that and wasted time. Hp never mentioned the motherboard issue. I will not buy HP again.
Good video. I purchased my DV9000 in March 2007 and had nothing but problems from the start. It was the most unreliable computer I ever owned. Finaly died in Feb 2009. I got no help from Harvey Normans after paying for a 5 years warenty and no help from HP. That will be the last HP product I will ever buy again in my life and will advise others to steer away from them.
PS. I use now a ASUS 701SD as my work laptop. Some would say thats a drop! but far from. Best little machine ever :D
My DV3000 has been bad since it was new in 2009. I can not download or use any programs other than word processing because it will overheat in seconds, lock up and shut down. The screen and battery were both defective too, but not being able to compute on the computer is the most bothersome. It works ok for surfing the net as long as its plugged in.
HP PRODUCT ARE THE WORST PRODUCT IN THE WORLD... HP SELL LOW QUALITY PRODUCT. HP THEY DONT CARE AFTER THEY GOT YOUR MONEY. PLEASE STOP PATRONIZING THIS COMPANY.
i don't know why some companies in some cases sell products they know will break very quickly or sell products that are of poor quality. I do not say this is the case here as I do not know the details, but putting short term profit before proper business will eventually strike back on themselves.
want to point out that the models with said problems all had a 2 year warranty from HP. The problem was related with the mother boards - similar problem with a few other manufacturers during that time - HP was one of the only ones to extend the warranty to a 2 year free of charge not to mention that you never had to pay shipping with them. Go and buy something else but you will not get better quality or service. As for service; call any company yelling and screaming and u WILL get bad service.
Question for Acer notebook users, I recently restored my system after the fact that a program wouldn't open, Now when I turn on my laptop, It shows a dial up box saying that I need to reinstall my logon page it might fix the problem, Has anyone experience this sytoms, Need HELP what can I do?????
after two laptops and two deskop w printer and accesories... i have given up hp due their HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... only two times i needed help and they asked me for money even tough i had warranty, they took a month an a half to replace my desktop and 14 hrs on the phone talking to kumar to get it done... since i have bought a toshiba, my ac adapter stoped working the sam day i called them, filled the claim, the same night they air shiped it ang got it next mornig, LOVE TOSHIBA! FORGET HP.
Yeah I took out the extended warranty and the pc failed 2 months after expiry. Spoke to the shop who sold the Dv900 HP (short for Heap of Poo) and they run the other way saying that they knew of no problems with the HP. Lies all lies. The battery failed just after one year and this is when the Pc did a battery diagnostic and told me that the battery was shot $240. Shame it did not do the diagnostic one month earlier. I got shafted by HP. $2600 Pc not worth anything with all my important info on.
What about warranty? Were any of those computers under warranty? How does hp react to fixing things under that? It's scary had I known about this I wouldn't have bought a hp laptop myself, but so far so good I haven't had any problems yet, but mine is a dv6 pavillon 2144tx and still under warranty.
I have the same problem, my wireless switch doesn't work. I had someone to manually turn it on but I just upgraded to windows 7 so its diabled again and the person who fixed it before moved so does anyone know how to fix it manually.
:( Don't buy HP Laptop. Problem still persists. It's 2010 now. I just got my Pavilion DV6T 6 days ago. Very first day of use, the problem showed up. I first used it for 1.5 hours, then started a 3d game. In 2 mins, some crappy colors attacked the display and then it went blank. Came back after a few seconds. Win7 says "the display driver has stopped responding and successfully recovered". But, after that recovery, it's like using win95 without VGA drivers. Sometimes it doesn't even recover.
After some Research my boyfriend is finding out there is an issue with the Video card as told to Hp by the company who made the video card and told Hp to recall it but Hp wont
I have the Hp Pavillion Tx1000. I have had the issue with the internet not working but also many others. When I first bought the laptop in Mid 2007 I noticed it got fairly hot but didnt think anything of it. Over the years I have had to replace my keyboard twice, Connections issue not recgonizing the internet. Extremly hot on the bottom and now once I get on my computer after about 10 mins it will turn it self off because its over heating Looking for a class action lawsuit!!!!!
@ipwnurs OMG stfu. You choose to buy a shitty PC from one manufacture so you switched over to a mac when it sucks? WTF does it have to do with the OS when the hardware is the thing sucking? Next time don't be a retarded cheap ass and buy an Asus. You're retarded for buying from the same manufacture over and over again when the first few crapped out on you. Macs uses the same hardware so obviously you're just one of those that drank the kool-aid.
By the way, Macs are quite pleasant. I was a little weary myself when I first bought it, but it turns out I really do like it. I've had it for quite a while now and I'm not regretting it. I do also have a PC desktop, so don't get me wrong as a Mac fanboy because that's really not it at all, I just like what I bought is all;)
I'm sorry you don't approve, but to be honest, I don't really care for the opinion of someone over YouTube comments.

go tn hp dv6 pavillion laptop just before christmas. ran very hot. called and the lady was great! said send it in and we will check it out for you. sent it in days later got a call from "customer service". buddy was a complete dick! said there was a spill on it and it was irreparable. got it back and it doesn't even turn on. was working fine when i sent it in! still waiting to hear back from them. they will prob do nothing!
i knew hp was bad. I just didn't know it was this bad. I broke my toshiba and had to get a notebook on the cheap. Big mistake. If i had known they were associated with those shell computers (compaq) I would have gone without.
i need help, my hp pavillion dv2000 wont turn on, i hear the fan go on and off but also the power button doesnt light up,its a 700$ laptop and its only been working 2 years
I own a hp pavilion dv6000 and it wasn't working really well, but i have to say it's not the laptop itself, it's windows vista, i moved from windows to ubuntu linux, and boooalaa it works really well, not a single problem since i moved to linux and that was 2 years ago, so the solution that worked for me was leaving windows, hope it works for some of you guys
stupid fucking HP excuse my french, I have a hpdv6000 ive gotten it repaired 3 times already (The wireless) now my warrenty is no more GOD I hate this laptop I know for 1 thing that I am NOT going to buy HP anymore !!!!
same thing with my dv9000. biggest piece of crap. two motherboards and other stuff under warranty, the wireless died like in the vid, and last but not least, the video card came unsoldered. :/
The Problem is not the Wireless card its the video card becoming desoldered due to heat cycling. My Wireless stopped working so I used a USB wireless device and it was ok. Then the video card problem came up (blank screen) and I reheated (resoldered) the Nvidia BGA (ball Grid array) using a torch. It worked.. video was back and ALSO the wireless. problem is noise. When properly soldered down again all was ok. keep from overheating and keep vents clear.
@cruiserbilly I think you are most correct here. A different problem also happened to me with my Compaq Presario laptop, due to heating problems, the fan was always on. When i opened it up, the entire heat sink was detached/desoldered from the cpu, thus causing the laptop to steam and scream. Obviously, HP needs to make their laptops better at handling heat.
My wireless suddenly stopped working today and every time I try to boot up the computer I get the blue screen of death. As luck would have it the warranty ran out on my tx1000 Pavilion 10 days ago. HP wants $450 to fix my laptop. I will never, ever buy another HP notebook or laptop computer again. Shame on you, HP! You should be recalling these computers. I just learned today that this problem is rampant and has been going on for 2 1/2 years!!
I had enough of HP quality, after 2 of my HP laptops died. Now, I am a Mac guy. It's funny, how i became a switcher thanks to Vista and HP computers :) Now, i am happy.
same thing just happened to my hp dv6000, i called hp, they wanted to charge me 398 dollers to get it fixed, so i just bought a gateway and so far its much better than hp
motherboard is in catastrophic shape, overheat WAS a major problem, but "thanks to this awesome MB" everything including hard is almost fried to death so i have a laptop that lags when reading e-mail, simple, ordinary e-mail.
I'm going to sell this lap for one way ticket to Canada (i bought this piece of s.... there, i live in croatia) and a bomb........
i had a dv9000 that i had 3 year extended warrenty through geeksquad..thank God i did that caz it went though 3 motherboads/videocards in 2 years and hit the no lemon policy though geek squad...got a full refund on computer to put towards a new one..against my better judgment i went with Hp's dv7 with the intel core i7 (quadcore) with 500 gb hard drive and 6gb of ddr3 mem... so far so good...i just hope this is a won gamble.
hey i experience the same problem. my hp dv6000 thinks it doesn't have a wireless card, it has turn on and video issues too. i am so pissed off. can someone please let me know if hp costumers are organizing themselves to file a lawsuit against hp?
check into the no lemon policy..if u fixed that many times under same problem u should be entitled to a new computer...thats how i got out of my POS dv9000
If you go to NVIDIA site you will see on financial page they took a $200 million hit to pay HP for DV6000 problems caused by NVIDIA GeForce excessive heat output. Are the HP motherboard problems caused be the graphics chip? Are they caused by low-spec built boards? Did HP shill NVIDIA and HP owners? Who owns Pegatron- their board of choice? I'm going to Pegatron site now. Why use Pegatron boards after proven fautly? Business in China as usual?
dude do not buy hp computers my fin wireless card failed and the only way it works if i turn it off put the card in the freezer for 5 min then put it back and it overheats so hot that u cant even touch it. btw im 1 of the ppl complainin
Go buy a HP Pavilion DV7-1090ED, update the bios and there is no problem...
My notebook is 24/7 turned on, sometimes i reboot for windows updat or the laptop uses to many memory at the time,
bet the laptop is nou 1,5 years turned on, and no trouble, i had 1 time a defective hard drive, i contacted the Support chat on the website, and after 3 days i got a new hard drive, since that time no any problems...
@lance3104 Hard drive isn't even made by HP, if you swapped out the hard drive for a different one and it had the same problem, then you can blame the motherboard or whatever else is causing it. Probably bumping it around too much.
Well my fight has been with Best Buy so far, since I have a warranty but it expires in March of 2010 and I've already clocked two repairs, I know a face-off with HP is inevitable.
@ddudgeon Yup same here. Was online yesterday, on my WiFi. Now the Wifi light is red, meaning it is off. I toggled it to the side, nothing. Checked for connectivity through the computer, nothing.
A laptop cooling fan has helped keep it from overheating, but it still doesn't recognize that I have a wireless card. I think the problem started only after I started watching videos on my laptop - based on what I've read on the HP forums, etc., I think there is some problem with the video card which overheats and then screws up the wireless card. I'm probably not paraphrasing that very well, but the long and the short of it is that this is a known defect that they should fix!
One more thing... My brand new HP Pavilion dv6000 last only 11 months.... While I was buying my dv6000 a friend of mine bought Dell Inspiron.
His LapTop was looking like piece of shit compare to mine... and guess what... His supid Inspiron still woeks just fine... My Hp dv600 is long gone....
I had the same problem. After months HP finally pushed out an update that had them repair those under warranty. There are more problems occuring that is the same as everyone else. I'm moving away from HP. Their outside design is awesome, but that's it.
I'm so mad on HP, two years ago I bought pavilion DV6000 LapTop computer. I guess I was one of the lucky ones... My LapTop was working just fine for the first 10 months... Then I lost my wireless connection... the wireless network card can not be found!!!
OK F... HP... I went to BestBuy and bought USB wireless card (external one).... it worked for another 2 months... and then the computer just stopped working... Motherboard problem...
I sent mine in twice (which was fine because they payed for it all and next day air which was nice) and now I know the problem...NEVER USE THE COMPUTER PLUGGED IN WITHOUT THE BATTERY...the box says you can but I called and they said that was a big mistake. You will fry your motherboard...It has not done it since...if it does, reseating the ram will fix it.
PS I have found hp very helpful and have not had any problems. :)
Indeed, there are loads of these HP machines that have graphics and/or wireless problems. Other manufacturers have had issues like these, but while HP just ended their extended warranty program to fix the affected laptops for free, the others are going to fix laptops for many more years to come. And there are many other HP models that suffered from the same problem but weren't ever covered! HP is a terrible company and I am recommending everyone I know to never buy from them.
2 months after getting the dv9000 my motherboard fried, hp replaced it but when i got it back the wifi was shot, then the hinge messed up then the battery went now my screen is acting weird. SCREW U HP!!!!!! I HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT, YA BASTARDS!!!!!!!
People still buy the shit. Look at their stock price is going up and up and up. HP is the Walmart of PC makers, except you DON'T GET WHAT YOU WANT at a lower price.
@yearofthe ok in order heres your mistakes, your webcam was probably hit with something. you probably bang on your keyboard, the hinges had to much pressure on it, you got a defective screen (blame nvidia who makes the screen), you downloaded porn, buy an external mouse (duh), like i said you downloaded porn you stupid shit
@Pokemart900 Dumbshit, my Packard Bell laptop never breaks it's webcam when I bang on my keyboard. Why would yearofthe download porn? I know you watch Pokemon yiff. Want some Werehog yiff with that?
@yearofthe wow lol i threw mine out i payed $700 for a hp dv2000 and i replaced it with a harddrive i call hp support again for the fix and say out of warrenty wow :( sad
people, don't buy HP... this video is from 2007, there are comments from people who bought HP in 2006.. I bought last year, still shady customer servive and denial of any fault of their own, all they want is to suck more money from you and deflect any fault away from them, they'll blame windows, amd, or any other entity, never accepting their responsibility and never repairing anything as long as they can get away with it, DO NOT BUY HP, WORST MANUFACTURER EVER
@garfiloco I had call them today 50 times, my blue light wireless not turn blue stays orange, FUCK HP ! You must pay 50 dollars for assistance and they know what's up !
MY hp dv7 is 8 months old and its over heating like crazy and shutting the laptop, got a special tray that get out out from under the lap top and used short burst of air pressure on the slotted ares to clean potential dust but still over heats sometimes in few minutes it still under warranty and i am afraid to open it to air off the dust inside and don't trust pc places to have a look at it any tips??
try downloading the new bios for your version. it should adjust your fan speed. if that still doesn't work, contact hp and check forums for your model type and check for any model or part-specific recalls/fixes that hp offers. If none of that helps, get an extra fan. if none of that helps, feel free to send me a message.
Dear David: If you want to find a similar problem with HP notebooks, please google " Pavilion zd8000 vertical lines on display".On HP Internet forum: customers are desperate alone since 2006 posting failures with their notebooks.
Please check my video and HP forum about this failure and bad HP customer service. Best Regards
This is unreal, after almost 2 yrs since this video came out, I'm now on the same boat as everyone else who has wireless connectivity issues with this piece of crap called HP/Compaq. I've also read countless posts about people with the same problem and the lack of a TRUE solution from HP. I will make it one of my life's goals to promote the FACT the HP/Compaq computers suck hairy-monkey ASS!!
I got a Paviilion DV7 paid 1500 EUR and after 1 year the screen went out. HP told me to pay 400 EUR for the repair + 70 EUR for the handling charge. My warranty has been expired by 2 months. So end of the story the products only works for 1 year after that pay fortheir quality problem HP Sucks
Hp will bo bankruptcy due to their low quality products and bad customer support. my 2 years old DV6000 turn on but only display back light and the arrow.
Same here, tx 1000 with dead wifi - problem due to MB (specifically the nvidia chip). Need people to flood hp forums and sign petitions. Called HP, they recognize the problem, but claim not enough people have contacted them.
Mine died too but it wasn't covered with the extended warranty. It's very well known that the motherboard is at fault. After paying hundreds of dollars spent on a laptop you would think quality would be included. I bought a USB wifi instead.
G-damn HP, they suck so badly & so does Staples warranty! They won't cover anything!! I paid $1200 for a dv9620 & an extra $200 for extended warranty.. my hinge is broken, I never take it out of the house, it is taken care of, this is not my fault! No one will fix it!! Also my Optical drive is not working & I have tried to get help, all they say it delete & reinstall the BIOS, that is their answer for everything, it doesnt work, damn them!!
Pretty much the same shit only mine is worse. Mine is with Circuit City and we all know where they are at right now. This is the last time I purchase anything from HP. Cheap pieces of shit.
Did you have a problem with the Optical drive missing? It's still missing & the hinges were broken, Staples told me to send it in that way to the warranty place, then they told me that I dropped it, which is bullshit. So I fixed the hinges myself & have to send it back to them again & see if they will fix it, again!, I have tried everything. It keeps trying to load the drive, then it crashes & goes dead,,, sigh!
Well mine is a bit different. My light went off, my volume is no longer working, and the battery sucks. I paid 50 dollars to HP idiots that lives in fuckin India to fix this and it led to a dumb system restore and the bitch still didn't work. This is the last time I but any of their products. They are a piece of shit. They said I needed a new internal wireless card but obviously the only way I can get that is if I pay them because they don't have these in stores.
Bogus! You know that they had a battery recall for some of them overheating & causing fires. I have a 9620 (9500) I am about to send it back to the shop after they made me fix my own hinges first... I couldn't afford a Mac & I don't know if any other laptop PC's are better than this or not? do you?
I Think the problem with all of this is VERY poor cooling in the cpu and the graphics card. This causes the wireless the screen, keyboard, battery etc. You can buy a new laptop or fix it over and over AND OVER but i think the best way to fix all this is put in a better cooler for the cpu. That is my idea anyways.
i have a some problems with mine the screen stays black also had problems with the wireless as well and im not paying more money to try and fix something for one more big problem to happen to it seems these laptops are junk and i lost out on $1,200 dollers
my HP pavilion dv9000 has broken 3 times. it has been on repair 4 mounths +. and now it keeps overheating. payed 12K SEK for 1200 $ for this peace of shit. FML
If people have problems...why not just SEND in the laptop & get it fixed?
this happened to me, i brought it back to futureshop & they sent it back to HP. also am wondering do you need to be under warrenty to do this? & Can you buy an "extended warranty AFTER purchase?
hi, maybe you could help me i have a hp pavilion zd8000, i just bough a charger for my laptop y put to charge all night but when y tried to turn on, doesnt turn on so a light shown up is a like a ray what does it mean, my batery is death or my computer have some problem, thanks
I have the same problem, also. I have a dv7-1025us and my wireless keeps going out. i already went through the process of sending it to HP...NO HELP! Customer service Sucks!!! I hope this company goes out of business..FUCK HP!! they could make outstanding commercials, but their products can't back it up! Half-Ass made computers! I should've got an XPS.
Hey! I'm glad I found this video... do how you know what HP is doing to correct the problem? My notebook is going tomorrow for the 3rd time to the warranty service... so sad. The last time, HP fixthe problem but downgraded my processor!Gladly I checked in time otherwise I would never know!!!!! HP NEVER MORE!
lucky u i have same one as u ive not had wirless problems but ive had harddrive failure black screen like 10 times for both takes like half hour to turn on there crap. tbh but im on it now

Best little machine ever :D
kermit30au 1 year ago
My DV3000 has been bad since it was new in 2009. I can not download or use any programs other than word processing because it will overheat in seconds, lock up and shut down. The screen and battery were both defective too, but not being able to compute on the computer is the most bothersome. It works ok for surfing the net as long as its plugged in.

i don't know why some companies in some cases sell products they know will break very quickly or sell products that are of poor quality.

Macs uses the same hardware so obviously you're just one of those that drank the kool-aid.

same thing with my dv9000. biggest piece of crap. two motherboards and other stuff under warranty, the wireless died like in the vid, and last but not least, the video card came unsoldered. :/
Freeride600 1 year ago 2
The Problem is not the Wireless card its the video card becoming desoldered due to heat cycling. My Wireless stopped working so I used a USB wireless device and it was ok. Then the video card problem came up (blank screen) and I reheated (resoldered) the Nvidia BGA (ball Grid array) using a torch. It worked.. video was back and ALSO the wireless. problem is noise. When properly soldered down again all was ok. keep from overheating and keep vents clear.
cruiserbilly 1 year ago 7
@cruiserbilly I think you are most correct here. A different problem also happened to me with my Compaq Presario laptop, due to heating problems, the fan was always on. When i opened it up, the entire heat sink was detached/desoldered from the cpu, thus causing the laptop to steam and scream. Obviously, HP needs to make their laptops better at handling heat.

My wireless suddenly stopped working today and every time I try to boot up the computer I get the blue screen of death. As luck would have it the warranty ran out on my tx1000 Pavilion 10 days ago. A laptop cooling fan has helped keep it from overheating, but it still doesn't recognize that I have a wireless card. I think the problem started only after I started watching videos on my laptop - based on what I've read on the HP forums, etc., I think there is some problem with the video card which overheats and then screws up the wireless card. I'm probably not paraphrasing that very well, but the long and the short of it is that this is a known defect that they should fix!

I sent mine in twice (which was fine because they payed for it all and next day air which was nice) and now I know the problem...NEVER USE THE COMPUTER PLUGGED IN WITHOUT THE BATTERY...the box says you can but I called and they said that was a big mistake.

So I have no idea what the hell you are talking about. :)

HeadNtheClouds 2 years ago

StylistecS 2 years ago
Bogus! You know that they had a battery recall for some of them overheating & causing fires. I have a 9620 (9500) I am about to send it back to the shop after they made me fix my own hinges first... I couldn't afford a Mac & I don't know if any other laptop PC's are better than this or not? do you?
HeadNtheClouds 2 years ago
I would say Sony is more reliable but I'm trying to get a Mac myself. But I won't be getting HP again in anything.

HP is garbage. Everything they make is just crap. Garbage in... garbage out.

the reason is because you nead to upgrade your driver and it will work and if it does not work then uninstal and reinstall then it will work

If people have problems...why not just SEND in the laptop & get it fixed?
this happened to me, i brought it back to futureshop & they sent it back to HP. also am wondering do you need to be under warrenty to do this? & Can you buy an "extended warranty AFTER purchase?

Lol. You already pay an extra $200 on all the HP commercial crap. Probably HP makes hundreds of dollars off of one PC.
