I used to love watching these movies as a kid in the 70's. I especially enjoyed watching them in our friends 300 yr old house in the Kent countryside. We would be afraid to go up to bed afterwards.
Wow! Marty Scorsese loved going to Hammer films? I know Peter Jackson was thrilled to met Christopher Lee for LOTR because he used to frequent Hammer double features at the cinema when he was a kid.
Quality horror: classy down the board!

Remember seeing this when it was first broadcast, in 1987. Followed by an amazing season of late-night Hammer double bills.

Does anyone know what the movie is at 1:20, with the white demon and the guy on the crane? Saw that on TV as a kid and it terrified me.

Tony Hinds is dryly funny when talking about his father. Not sure if that's intentional or not!

If you dig Hammer flicks, you're in good company.
