does this work for ANY car? or does it hafto be a model that was made like afer the year 2002 or somethin? becuz i have a 1995 beretta an when i look up this product on youtube all i find r people who have cars that r like fairly new looking, jw
Hahaha They FAil.....My Friend Bought This Product And He Has A Big Problem.....................The Battery....What Happens When Your Battery Is DOWN...HAHA LOL
@MrKurajit Of course if the battery on your phone dies and you do not carry the remote for th system then you are locked out of the vehicle. That is common sense. Same could hapen if you do not have cellular or Wifi.
@MrKurajit You must obviously be the most well informed one here to write up a comment as that. Well just to let you know... DEI ( The makers of Viper.) have built in a battery monitoring system into the top models, the car will start when the battery drops below a certain voltage, and run the alternator until it is back to a proper charge. Your friend must have had this system installed by some hack, or he purchased a lowend clifford, python or viper model and added this module on it.
in order for them to steal your car, they'd have to have your iphone, keys and location of car. if they just have your iphone, yea they could start and find your car but as soon as they push the brake, the car goes dead. you have to have the keys in the ignition to drive off. i am going tomorrow to buy one for my car. regular remote start won't work for me because i have to park so far away from work
I think this might be a bad idea. What if you got your iphone stolen? or lost? Then somebody could use the (Find My Car Ap) Then find your car, then unlock the doors, open the trunk, and start your car. So, did anyone think of this b4?
True, but those remotes don't got much of a range. And they would have to look very hard. My point is, if they steal your iPhone, they will find your car in 30 secs, they steal your keys, the will find your car in 30 mins or 30 hours. Cause the theft would not know where you parked it. And those remotes don't reach that far. Unless it's a fancy Viper Remote. That reaches a mile away.
you still need the key. you have to turn the key to the ignition postion as the remote start will only run for 12 minutes (programmed standard but can be changed). The key is needed to release your shifter and unlock the steering wheel. Also this way the car is running off your key cylinder rather than the smart start
Fuck i wanna run over her with that car stupid cunt

Same thing could happen if you lost your keys
SonOfATL 2 years ago
No, not really. Cause how would the theft know where your car is?
joewillgo 2 years ago
Come on man. Most new cars have keyless entry with a panic button to locate your car.

It is password protected access, unless you give out your access than that is not possible.

So do you need to put the key in the Ignition once its started, to drive away or does the module include some kind of push button start in your Car?

You will still need the key to unlock the steerinf and shifter in the vehicle
