This movie came out in 2008 why is this on "Pearl Jams" account I'm beginning to believe this isn't actually PJ's youtube account there's so many vids on here that have absolutely nothing to do with Pearl Jam
@mattdogg65 --- It has everything to do with Pearl Jam. They are very supportive of living a cleaner, healthier life, which means knowing where your food comes from and protecting the environment.
It's unfortunate that many of us cannot afford to purchase organic produce or free range meats.
I will never understand how we are encouraged to buy local when doing so cost us much more. How can a tomato grown on a farm down the road cost more then one imported from Chili?
It's Chile. And you can blame Free Trade agreements and unfair wages to "3rd world" countries. That's why most nations are "undeveloped", because the big capitalists pay cheap for what we produce.
At first, I thought this movie would be some vegan hippie crap, but its NOT! It's a movie about the growing problem of how our food is handled, grown, processed, etc.
I guess the people at the food administration can't be trusted...
I agree, yet disagree at the same time, I agree that we should have healthy food, but livestock slaughter cows grown in the conventional fashion sell meat for a higher price and due to the failing economy many people are forced to cut their spending and are barely able to make house payments and start buying generic brands, which due to having less money we can't spend more for healthier food, we have to buy what we can afford. That is the problem in America.

it is simple supply and demand.
the more people buy, the cheaper it will (eventually) become.
if you stop buying budget brands, the stores will take them off the shelves.
50 years ago EVERYTHING was organic because the mass produced, ultra-refined rubbish didn't exist yet.
it doesn't matter where you live. read the lable. ask questions. dont accept cheap shit. find out what E numbers are and WHY they are there.
