Tuff rott. Is it because he still has a tail that he's able to tussle with the cane corso? Everytime I've seen this match up at local dog parks the corso ALWAYS wins no matter how big the rott is

@gmonsteratyate its more about wrestling ability than size. I have seen a 55lb american pit bull terrier beat a rottweiler that was 130+lbs before. <--- it wasn't a illegal fight, they were playing. Its also about gameness and drive.

@MissCedarbridge1 It doesn't look scared. In my experience with dogs, if it was truly scared it would be trying to hide. They are playing, a dominate and a little bit of a hard kind of game, but they are both powerful breeds and that's how they tend to play.

In my opinion if he was really scared of the other dog it really wouldn't make sense to continue to play with him. he would be trying to avoid the dog. they seem to be having a good time and look to be friends! but that's just my opinion:)

@meximike1989 My cane corso is 10 months old and his weight is near to 45 kg. I'm very careful whit his food because it can became fat and have problems whit his bones. The grandfather was near to 70 kg!!!!

@gabrielone81 Switch to food for big mature dogs. I have a CC and grew to fast too. The vet give me the advice to switch from puppy food to regular food for mature dogs. Now he is full grown and still hit the scale at 65+Kg

@gabrielone81 Well i life in The Netherlands guess the brand is only available there.

It's the cheaper version of Royal Canin Croc and it's called just Croc (same manufacturer lower costs) and they sell it in a yellow and blue 20kg bag (its dry food).

When he was a puppy we gave him Eukanuba puppyfood for big breeds.

We did experiment with dry food the cheapest he just ate and pooped a lot .

He gets a cup 3 times a day. now and then he gets some bread, clean pasta and fruit he loves apples
