  • would he be the next doctor......i will quit the series !

  • I think Maya (the lead singer from a J(apnese)-Rock band, LM.c) should be the 12th Doctor--just watch him use psychic paper, a sonic screwdriver, and pilot a TARDIS--the Sontarans, Cybermen, and Daleks wouldn't stand a chance!

  • its battlestar gallatica. but he would make a good doctor

  • Eccleston was dark and intence. Tennent was less intence and more energetic. Smith is a puppy dog. I think that they should go back to the intensity of the Eccleston days because I feel that Matt Smith's shoes are to big to fill.

Maybe before Smith's doctor regenerate, he can go through a real tragedy to cause him to be a dark doctor (crossing fingers for amy to die)

  • I wish he would be the Doctor! Matt Smith does not appeal to most of the Tennant or even later Calssic Era fans. There needs to be more gravitas and a bit more age to the Doctor. As it is now, it's just wrong. At least Davison, the only Doctor who was anywhere near Smith's age, he did have the chops, gravitas and maturity. All of which Smith is lacking.

  • @Bajazoid O rly? I've seen every Doctor from 1 through 11... 11 is pretty damn close to 2 and 4 in his zaniness. I mean, hell, 2 played a recorder and dressed like a hobo clown. I liked Tennant but near the end he just got too sappy, and RTD's attempt to darken 10's character and make him the "Time Lord Victorious" was just silly.

  • He defintely should be the 12th doctor.

  • Actually, I think James Callis might make a good new incarnation of the Master to go up against Matt Smith's Doctor.

  • He could do well in Dr.Who. I'm sure he could get into the fast talking, quick emotion changing Doctor we know and love.

  • No, I think he would make a better Master,

  • I dunno seeing as how he's busy living in Eureka these days!

  • Unfortunately, he's a bit old to be the next Doctor. Maybe if he were the 10th or if he had been the 9th, but as the Doctors tend to be younger and younger as the regenerations happen, I don't see them going to James Callis for the next one. I do agree he would make a brilliant Doctor, though.

  • @adjectivenoun7 Dude, did you not see some of the early doctors? The trend of making them younger and younger is a recent one and not nessasarly for the better. An older Doctor I feel lends the character greater gravitas and underlines it better when he acts young, being bouncy and energetic and having those "Oh Brilliant" moments that Tennant did

  • well hey its the doctor!....dr. trevor grant

  • Uh, no.

  • matt smith is awesome

  • no.

  • James Callis would be just perfect for a Doctor!

Whooooo that would be so great.

  • Wow this guy would be a fonominal doctor and its most likely after matt smith there gonna go for a bit of an older guy so He would be perfect we should all seriously start sending him fan mail or something to tell him to do it

  • I could see him doing the part justice. However, I'm still hoping they'll consider Sean Pertwee for the part in the future. Besides the fact that he's the Third Doctor's "son", I think he would be brilliant.

  • he would be well good as the the doctor

  • I like Matt, he's going 2 do great with the role of the Doctor

  • Priceless Gaius!

  • I don't know why he didn't audition for Doctor Who along time ago he would be great in it.

  • I'd actually watch the show if he was in it

  • If that happened I would jizz in my pants

  • You are absolutely so right!

  • man... there are no words to describe how hot that scene is with the Angelic Six riding Gaius as he's being tortured

  • I would cry with joy if he was the 11th Doctor!

  • i dont liike matt compaired to him

    hes brill

  • i saw him today!

  • whats john mccain doing there?

  • i agree this guy is brilliant

  • I made up this joke earlier before the announcement

'the BBC has just announced a black man as the next Dr Who. The viewers responded with outcrys of no you cant and the BBC replies YES. WE. CAN'

I think Matt will be wonderful!

  • 11th doctor just been announced - 26 yr old 'unknown' Matt Smtih

  • Matt Smith is the 11th Doctor, what load of bollocks! Why don't they be done with it and make him a teenage hoodie!

  • i think hes going to be great

  • You would, you probably think he's well fit!

  • I agree he has the stuff

  • Not bad - I didn't know this guy, but not bad at all - he could do it. Noot the greatest actor in the world though. I'm still holding out for Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting/ 9 1/2 weeks later) though he doesn't need it.

  • James Callis would be perfect as Doctor Who.

He would make the role his own.

He young, British and a great actor, he definatley has the potential.

Plus he would add further worldwide appeal to the program.

  • AhHa! I think JOHN OLIVER the psychic / medium /actor would make a great DR. WHO!!!

  • yuupp,, 3:43 prooves he wuld make a real gud doctor lool

  • Yes,this man is quite an interesting actor,he could very well be the 11th Doctor if chosen. Great video.

  • you've swayed me!

  • Am I the only person on this earth who thinks John Oliver would make a great doctor?

  • John Olver the psychic/medium/actor/ would make a great Dr. Who!!

  • He gets very tom baker-like after 3:40! A cross between baker and davison.

  • I would like Rufus Sewell

  • yeah that'd be nice!

  • Callis could be good but I always feel Peter Serafinowicz would make a great Eleventh Doctor

  • of course i am - i still luv him tho!!!!!!

  • hey u...amandaculley...did u say u didnt like david????!!!!!! OMG he's just as awesome as edward cullen (but nowhere near as awesome as johnny depp or orlando bloom!)!!!!!!!!!!! this james guy would b heaps crap!!!!!

  • You are aware that Edward Cullen is a fictional vampire, right?

  • ahahahaha made me laugh so much. That actor off of Hot Fuzz for the next doctor!. Baltar would be good too though.

  • yep brilliant id watch dr who david irritates me i liked chris eccleston james would be brilliant ab fab

  • I can't hear any of it

  • Watch past the first clip. The first clip is a bit quiet, sorry. That's the only source I had. But every other clip should be fine.

  • I support this 100%

  • I hate to break it to you, but BSG only has half a season left. By the time S5 of Doctor Who starts filming, he will be quite free.

  • I'm not sure that he'd want to commit to another regular role in a SciFi show. He was asked in an interview a few months ago what kind of role he'd want to have next, and he said "something that has nothing to do with spaceships".

  • I'd dig me some Callis for the next Doctor, but he seems to be having such a fantastic time on BSG that I doubt he'd consider the role seriously.
