Yes, Stan Lee had already done a Rockomic album in 1972 and toyed with the idea about an opera - inspired by the Who's "Tommy" movie. Unfortunately it was never realized.

The Spiderman movie concept he mentions around 8:40 sounds awesome. Rock opera!
