This model "Wren" turbine is designated for shaft output turning a propeller. There is a built in gear box for reduction of the turbine 40,000 RPM. As applied to this motor scooter that gearbox shaft output has a belt drive to another external gearbox which, in turn outputs to a variable speed belt drive similar to ( but much smaller ) certain cars and other scooters with speed control built into that output gear box.
Wanna know the best way to get the most people laughing at you? Get a geezer to drive down a busy street on a crappy little scooter that sounds like a fucking F-16! If you're gonna have that turbine engine on it you might as well wear the fucking fighter jet helmet and G suit as well!
you my friend, are a tool. "I know how to make it go faster, more power!" if you seriously think all you need to make that SCOOTER go 190mph is power, you don't know squat.
You liar. That is totally impossible, lover. There is no way, first of all, that an idiot in a pink shirt stole an F-15 engine. Second of all, do you have any idea how difficult it would be to shrink one of those things? As far as I know, it's utterly impossible given terrestrial technology. Aliens may have the technology, but we're yet to see it. You numb skull!
Thats the first time I've ever heard of a jet engine sound come from a scooter Lmaooo

How did you transfer the power? Trough the rear wheel or just directly as a jet propellant.
BTW: Very nicely done!

45; not bad for a DIY jetbike of this size; mostly city driving I suppose. How often do you ride it ?
yuandrew 5 years ago
Mostly for 'show and tell'; demo's. Hardly no general use. Its a great toy!

Top Speed ?
yuandrew 5 years ago
45 MPH with this gear set, variations can be made to allow 55 MPH, accelration suffers.
