The road from Marrakech to Essaouira used to be lined with thousands of eucalyptus trees, that not only looked beautiful, but which also provided welcome shade for the many travelers, not fortunate enough to travel by car, or those who lived in the back country and use the road stop a taxi or bus, to travel to market, etc. Now they must sit or stand in the full sun, with no shade for miles. Yes, the road gets wider and faster for a few, but what about the rest. Must they all suffer?
I could'nt agree more. Unfortunately this is problem with Morocco. Everything is for the benefice of the few :(
