i agree babe4fish13, but there are some good dive story sites on the net too. Try the myscubastory site. They have real life dive stories and dive accident videos. Put myscubastory into google, and its the first result.
I will check them out. I so wish I would have gone to college right out of high school and majored in Marine Biology.... I could have been working for National Geographic by now ;-) Have a fantastic weekend!
I dont think that we have those here in Texas...at least not in the Dallas area. :) How interesting! Are they part squid? What in the heck was that white thing coming out of it's mouth (assuming that was its mouth)? Do Cuttlefish bite? Just curious. I would love to go diving one day. Very amazing footage!
@kreavestx thanks for the comments - Cuttlefish are cephalopod, squid & octopus belong to this family as well. I don't know the name of the "white thing" but it's like a retractable tentacle. Cuttlefish have a very sharp beak (similar to a parrot) they eat crabs and have no problem biting through a shell, and would make a mess of you if it was to bite you. This one is a small cuttlefish - we get the Sepia apama (Giant Cuttlefish) which get to over 60cm in length. See my other videos for more.
@Ghorel Yeah - they are great creatures, shame the torch my buddy had wasn't better - as you would have seen the multitude of colours that they use. I love the way they also change their body shape.
