as much as i would like to say terran OP (they are, but it's besides the point), i don't think he should've spent so many resources just to get DTs that didn't do too much damage. Twilight + Dark Shrine + DT cost, that's pretty expensive when he could've invested in colossi or chargelots.

Because I actually find that people who play the other races agree terran has some balance issues. Guess thats why blizzard is nerfing them. Because they also agree.

When you give examples of terran counters to the toss units, you forget that there are toss counters to those terran counters and etc. The point of sc2 is that there is a never ending cycle of counters. So don't think that a when a terran gets vikings to counter collosus that it's game over. Even HD says the toss could have done things different for a better outcome

I think this highlights that the Colossus are too weak. I feel like the Colossus should be for the Protoss what the Thor is for Terran, and I honestly feel like they're wayyy underpowered.
@FlyingPancake0390 Colossus aren't that weak, but they *do* need upgrades. The extended thermal lance is a must have vs terran, as well as 3/3 shields/armour vs mass marines. I wouldn't mind seeing them receive a little more HP at some point, though.
@Agouti I think that the Protoss units in general need some kind of help over all to make up for the fact that they are so expensive, but Colossus being what is supposed to be Protoss' ground firepower unit, they aren't as strong as I think they should be. They need to have thermal lance & armor upgrades at the very least while you can just toss two Thors in and they'll take out a shit ton of units because they last so much longer right out of the gate.

A big nerf to the repair rate would be enough to even the tables I think (maybe no more stim on marauders?). Would still like to see a little more HP on colossi, because of their vulnerability to being sniped by AA like vikings & corruptors.
@Agouti Exactly, I mean I know they gave th colossus the advantage of being immune to gravitron beam and they can wal through sentry force fields, but that only ever helps during PvP. And an all mech army with a few SCV's and ghosts can seem to shatter any Protoss or Zerg force. Could be argued that Zerg has ultras to deal with the mech, but Protoss...? Maybe carriers? I feel like enough Bashees w/ a ghost EMP would tear them apart too, esp w/ stimmed marines.
shew made a lot of mistakes. no blink and no charge. he had that second 7 o'clock position for a long time and never got close to saturating it. someone like WhiteRa would've done a better job with the build. but I guess that's what separates the men from the boys

I'm surprised about the lack of DT's as well as the failure of the early stalker push. Blink or DT's would have nailed that game for Shew. He just didn't have the balls to push in and LZ nailed him for it in the end.
i didn't really think he is complaining about them at all. All he did was comment on how annoying it is as a terran to deal with a Protoss player making effective use of dark templars. And to be honest, it really really is.
I think Shew made a lot of mistakes. Even so I find it odd that such a big Toss army still lost. DT might have saved Shew but it might have not if he was doing nothing but saving comsat energy so he could use it nonstop.At most he would have had 8 scans which might have been enough. I am not sure even DT would have saved him at that final push.
@AzureDrag0n1 Shew just took too long to get any anti-MM tech (Thermal Lance or Zealot Charge). That Charge really works wonders for keeping the Terran in place so he can't snipe the Colossi like he did in the final battle.
Also, too many stalkers used ineffectively in battle. They have poor performance against an MM ball as marauders outmatch them, and 3 marines (150 mins to Stalkers 150) also do. And that's before stim. Charge-lots are always a superior choice against MM terran.
@AzureDrag0n1 thing is, the protoss didnt have a bigger army than the terran and he positioned is colossi horribly. he was focused on expanding instead of getting up a big enough force to deal wit all those marines and marauders

@jokerisnomak Well. It wasn't the protoss who sucks ass, but it's the user that keeps it rolling. The protoss is more of a stategy person. You need some tech to utilize your army. I would have researched a lot more, or sacrificed 4-5 stalker at the beggining for scv harasses. zealot charge should have been researched too... so overall. protoss is a good race, it's all about whos playing it.

@Seamonky72 Shew let the game go when he had it. Not only did he waste his time getting colossus when he could've researched blink and pump out more dark templars to totally shut down the marine ball, he went for 2nd expansion without properly saturating the first expansion he had.
LZ didn't win the game "easily" - there is no such thing as "Terran strength". Terran at the moment is the least represented in top tier tourney scenes both in Euro / Kor. There's a reason for this.
@ZergInfestedChrist I think you misunderstood my statement, i am under the impression the protoss player was winning for most of that match and then in the final 2 minutes the terran player came back and won rather convicingly i might add.
This video definitely shows how on point a player has to be to win. LzGamer showed how calm and pro his skill is and that an early advantage does not always win.

Painuser, you're really a breath of fresh air to Starcraft comentating. HD and Husky have such high-energy, in-your-face, repetitive-exclamation comentating styles, which are wonderful, but it's nice to have your calculative veteran angle as well.

@jokerisnomak Well. It wasn't the protoss who sucks ass, but it's the user that keeps it rolling. The protoss is more of a stategy person. You need some tech to utilize your army. I would have researched a lot more, or sacrificed 4-5 stalker at the beggining for scv harasses. zealot charge should have been researched too... so overall. protoss is a good race, it's all about whos playing it.

@AznLonelyBoi you do realize most of these spectator are either friends or practice partners of featured players?
They don't owe you anything nor are they under the obligation to not chat just because the replay might get sent to a shoutcaster. Remember, most of these replays aren't taken for the sole purpose of sending them to HD, they're taken for review / entertainment / sharing purposes.
So stop acting like a spoiled brat and learn to deal with it.

Besides you usually wouldn't have enough gas for the DTs anyways with the usual builds if the DS took less time :]

@cruuudd if you're accusing someone of cheating, then you better have proof to back it up. Otherwise, you're just an asshole calling for witch hunt.
Most good players have keen sense of timing and understanding of the opponent's mindset that they usually know when they have to push out to change the tide of the game.
If you can't understand this concept, then you're gonna think most pro players in Korea are cheating. (Especially some of Flash's game where he does psychic comsat scans)

@Seamonky72 Shew let the game go when he had it. Not only did he waste his time getting colossus when he could've researched blink and pump out more dark templars to totally shut down the marine ball, he went for 2nd expansion without properly saturating the first expansion he had.
LZ didn't win the game "easily" - there is no such thing as "Terran strength". Terran at the moment is the least represented in top tier tourney scenes both in Euro / Kor. There's a reason for this.
