It may be because of the high quality of the video, but his note seem to be much clearer than all the other recordings I have listened to, especially the cadenza.

I enjoy his interpretation of this concerto, and how he seems to try to do the opposite of what all the other greats have, whenever he can.

He's very good, but he seems to be playing the concerto much slower than it should be. See David Oistrahk's or Jascha Heifetz's same concerto

I think that this is right speed because many violinists play this piece over 19 minutes and less 20 min. I am not professional violinist, but he is not slow.

Actually, a lot of older pieces have been sped up steadily over the years. In actuality, it could even be too fast.
