I have the first one, DV2799ea. Specd out to the max. but i'm selling all the parts on eBay now cause it broke. It's a stunning laptop to look at and it does have some speed but. Overall its a dissapointment. Don't buy it.

that's a 14.1 incher right? You got Nvidia gfx card i suppose? Small chassis like that got no room for heat dissipation. Plus if you have a dedicated Gfx card like Nvidia, overheating issues. Unless you're always in a cool environment or you have a standalone cooling pad. :)

yeah its hot. Better go for 15.1 inches and above. its a shame there is no bronze one for dv6700's ..

btw these lappy are waaaayy old you wont even find them customized in the hp site.
