  • tech support on most companies=fail

    extended warranty= fail

20 different parts??? more like 10

  • 20 parts... 20 different parts to piece together...

    wow

    more like 7

  • i buy all my pc parts through a dealer in my town with a free return to store 2 year warenty on all parts

  • unfortunately my father doesn't feel this way... he says i should just buy a prebuilt one, and that custom building one isn't worth the time and hassle

  • @BaBaBaBlazin you can either buy one for like £500 which will be shit or custom build one for £500 which will be x3 better.

  • A times you sound like Robert Bowling.

    Good video though.

  • who the fuck rings dell anyway DELL CUSTOMER SUPPORT = EPIC FAIL

  • lol

  • lmao calling dell....Thank god we dont get charge for long distance. Since your only going to get connected to Inda each and every fucking time.

All they will do is ask for serial number. and oyu better hope like hell its not close to warranty end.

  • haha yeah :P

  • how do u no what is compatible with other parts

  • u check the specs on the motherboard to see if its atx, micro atx, etc. to see if it is compatible with ur case, and you gotta check wut cpu's are also compatible with ur motherboard and so on

  • and dont be jooped folks... personal!!! hahahaa fucking most un-personal things on this plannet, PC,s

  • I love how he says "Personal PC"...Personal Personal Computer?

  • and in the title is says "PC computer"

    so its personally computer computer?

but its not this guy fault. Its whoever posted these videos.

  • yea didnt u hear him hes 13 bro

  • Where did you come from? Kids shouldn't even be on youtube.

  • lol calling dell for customer support! FAIL.

  • cmon dell aint that bad lol

  • That's after they mark up the price of the components. Dumbass, no wonder it only cost $30

  • once i'm 18 im soo gonna build my own pc... maybe or with the help of my brother

  • y wait? im 13 and i saved up and bought the components and built it(yes i have a life im not a pc nerd) its simple just read the tutorials , google it buy books .b4 ane1 askes what my parents think, they dont care cuz i make my money

  • cool you must have no life.

  • by my comment u would think wouldnt u? dun blame u but i actulyhave a great life, i go out often have fun often, things which people with no life do so i gues i have a life,

  • lol k.

  • lol i never use this account so sry for the late reply, yh i may type wierd on youtube, emails and msn crap like tht but when i write i have no probs my spelling is almost perfect my grammar is the best. also im lazy :P so i just make everything shorter.

  • you are a dumbass, once you get the component you could ask them to assemble the whole component into a case for you for just $30 canadian dollar

  • It would have been nice to label these from 1-X

  • How do you know if your graphics card / memory / cpu will work on your mother board?

(I'm a total noob, just studying up before he tries to make his own gaming computer)

  • I'd suggest to do a little research and learn the basics about a pc, and to familiarize yourself in terms of what's current with the technology eg.motherboard, cpu, memory and so on. There are several types of builds. Most people build a pc for multimedia purposes, while others use it strictly for gaming.

  • well for your cpu you have to look at what socket your motherbored is, for example if your motherbored is a socket 775(witch is the most used up to today) then you have to buy a cpu that is socket 775. its really common since, as for your memory and your video card just boot up your computer and if it doesn't work then one of your components isn't operating.

  • so what ur saying is if i went out and was looking for core 2 duos... it comes in different "socket" types? thanks. the other dude basically just threw out what i already knew at me.... rofl.

  • dude, check on google

    example E8400+680i

  • Read the specs. on each item you want to see if their compatible. I did a couple months of research before I was satisfied.

  • Glad to see I'm not the first guy to take a long time to put together his first build. Yeah it took 3-5 hours to build my brothers due to a few "oops" moments, but second rig took 35minutes+OS Installation time.

  • Disadvantages of not going to school : Not knowing PC already stands for Personal Computer

  • where do you get the drivers like for windows or like the sound driver?

  • Is this a 'How to' or 'how NOT to'?

  • its like a ''dont expect it to be perfect if this is your first time"

  • hahahah reminds me of my first time I build mine, took me like 3 hours and I kept mixing everything up hahahahaha and the last one I built I did it in like 5 mins, oh yea the first one didnt work at all... so 3 hours wasted hahahaha

  • Building a PC gets a whole bunch easier over time. After only 3 builds I can build a system in under 30 minutes that posts first try while being careful. Never buy a premade computer! You can usually never overclock or upgrade easily and they often have wimpy power supplies that can barely run the system they ship with.

  • Yeah I can definatly agree that pre-made computers are rip-offs. Though many stores these days allow you to state every single component e.g. MotherBoard, CPU and have the supply build it for you. I was wondering also, how easy it to void warranty when building or installing components yourself?

  • in some PC stores, you can pay 20€ for install

it doesnt void the warranty and you can get for 600€ a pc that would cost 1200€ if it was a brand pc

  • Disadvantages aside, I still believe that building a PC would be more than worth it. I suppose that the biggest problem for me would be making sure I read the directions and ensure I don't break anything. lol

  • you still don't get tech suport from Dell even when you buy a Dell!!!

  • haha, so tru! xD

  • how much would it cost to build a pc that wud play say...WoW?

  • not much mate, send me link for a comp n al tell u if it will

  • i play wow and all it needs to play it is 1gb of ram,and nearly any graphic card..if your pc lags when u play wow than u might need to upgrade to 1gb+ of ram and MAYBE a better graphic card.the upgrade might cost 100euro or so..hope this helps

  • "and THAT! is how you build a PC

  • I think building a PC is a very good learning experience, especially for a first-time builder.

  • im getting my cousin to help me with my shit, so I can know in the future. This summer.

  • Its not that overwhelming if you know what your doing and have done your research like you should before building your pc.

And who the hell would even goto Dell for tech support even if they owned a Dell? lol

    Nice vid.

I Plan on building a second for a game server and continue to upgrade my current custom pc.

  • ehh its not that hard im building 2 pc's this summer so w.e

  • well i got to say practice makes perfect for putting on arctic silver 5. other than thats its easy

  • seemed more like an ADvantages to building a pc video lol - save money, cant screw much up, GO FOR IT lol

Im so doing this next summer

  • Another disadvantage, is that when you go to install your drivers off of the interent and something goes wrong, your stuck!

  • unless you system restore

  • like i sead on ur uther vidio nic

    ty

  • nice video

  • My thoughts exactly, good vids buddy.

  • i like your vids :)
