  • it's dark empire?

  • @0ivo0 Yes.

  • hey that mystery singer sounded a lot like Russell Allen? is it him??? :)

  • @Chrisleftyguitar I wish. ;)

  • He is my guitar teacher! How is it in new york?

  • @thekrazykids1919 Loving NY so far, the half of the week that I'm actually there. Grew up here, I've missed it and wanted to move back for 15 years, glad it finally happened. :)

  • @larkinguitar Awesome!

  • The word awesome was created for licks like this... so here goes \m/ AWESOME \m/

  • @lauriemonk Thanks, Laurie!

  • that mystery singer...

Did you ever release anything professionally before?

I see this guy on ebay who sells a tuition dvd for just under £10 delivered and has a lot of sales. I can't remember exactly number but it's around a thousand sales.

I bought it for curiosity and you could definitely batter out something better in a day.

Also, check out the yourock guitar, it's a midi input guitar that you can hook up to vst's on the pc. You're quite good with two hands and it might be fun?

  • @johnaiton Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely check out the MIDI guitar, sounds like something I'd have a lot of fun with. As far as professional releases go, I need to finish my album before considering an instructional release. I don't want to be yet another one of those guitarists nobody's ever heard of who assumes people would be interested in learning their licks/songs/solos. It's on the to-do list, just not any time soon, other than maybe a few Youtube mini-lessons.

  • Great playin mate!!!

  • Great playing dude, I started learning how to hybrid pick last week so its great to see a player use it fluently, second solo is awesome too, any tips for getting your pinky to stay straight and not curl back when your not using it?

  • @drawnacrol No, hahaha... I don't even notice that it's staying straight and not curling back, and I don't think I'm a particularly strong hybrid picker, but it is a technique that I think could be incorporated more in rock and metal, so I do what I can, with guys like Bumblefoot and Brett Garsed to keep me inspired....
