Great game :), too bad that half of the scenes shown in opening weren't shown ingame actually . Like Freya in a cage, Klein with a bow, Dryu hatching from an egg, Graham charging, party looking over lake to city, etc.

I'm sick of people trolling english VA, this one in particular is not as bad as MANY other games on the ps2,in fact, most of the Voices fit their characters...I'm tired of people saying " VA is so bad, Japanese audio is the best!" damn Otaku wannabes,show some respect to your language,most of you dont even know a single japanese word...

@ElBribri Good point,I didn't pay much attention to voice acting,but I liked the Barons talking... Only Chiquititas voice gets on my nerves,but that's o.k.,I never play the game because of good voices,and not played it because of bad voices,I play the game because of the fun,and that what's this game is,PURE FUN! I think they should score it better on reviews.... And you're right of those who sad that japanese VA is better. How they know is better if they do not know japanes?

I LOVE the strange 'tech' of the Shining Force games. And animation. Though, I think they should have stuck to super animetastic 8-bit portraits. That would be awesome. :P

I thought number one had a great story. It had a sequel for Sega CD I played which took place 30 years later. Shining Force II was not the sequel. This one was really neat too.

This is one of the few gemes of the shining force series that I haven't played. I'm going to remedy that son and I'm getting my hands on this game even though I didn't like Shining tears and Shining Force EXA, the visuals and storyline of this game seems amazing and the anime studio that produced the animation made incredible movies.

and its very addictive !Nice gameplay,

and very stylish graphics.

Even though button mashing

is unavoidable in many parts of the game,

and the story is a little bit moderate.

But i like it very much,I cant turn off my PS2 !

This game was sooooo long when you retrace the stuff you had to do and all the training you probably did just so you could easily OWn the bosses.....It sure was worth it all though! ~_^

Meh I don't like the way the new games are. There a completely different game now with only basic world consistency's to the original series. Original it was a turn based tactical rpg (if you don't count shining in the darkness) and it was pretty damn kick ass too.

running ring or a running pimento easily counters that, Brass gunners are good members of a team for their high defense, but I generally use master Monks over them myself.

I love this game its, so cool, i dont really use the wolf guy much he isnt really a help i only like it when he turns invisible(doesnt really help) i just cant be this one crazy scientist who turns into a monsters.

Try going through Hail Prison over again, and gain more experience and force energy Kratos508, I've always found that helps to re-do a section if the boss is too hard at the moment. ^-^
