Great video, the beer....not very good. I tried one recently and it gave me a big fucking headache. Also, I know what you mean about it tasting cheap....it's a bunch of crap but for getting drunk it's gold!

Colt 45 HG (sold in a few American states) has over 8% alcohol. The regular one (and the double malt) is about 6% abv.

Malt Liquor was a name invented to comport with US alcohol regulations, which don't allow "beer" to be sold as "strong" beer. In the UK and Canada the same product may be sold as "extra-strong beer." So, Malt Liquor is simply lager beer with another name.

I saw Magnum Malt Liquor in Baton Rouge in October for $1.29/40 oz.

@TouchMulaGANG Ya up in Canada a 24 is usually not less then 30$, beer and liquor is expensive up here and the Canadian dollar is almost even with the American. A 26 of liquor is usually at least a buck an onze, expensive up here

Yeah i enjoy the colt45 i like the taste and that's just me.The flavor is as you said like a wine almost,and the grainy smell can't be missed.The price always puts people off,making them think it is a cheap beer\malt liquor,but hey it gives a great presentation in a glass.Also this review is an honest one ,every other one i have seen has put this drink down to the lowest,but it is always A matter of opinion and your opinion is an honest one and i enjoyed this review and you have my sub.

Colt 45 is actually one of the better tasting malt liquors I think having tried it for the time about a month ago. Sad thing was I had to travel about 80 miles to get to a liquor store that actually has it.

Miller Lite has great lacing too, hahaha. Doesn't make it a good beer. While I won't be reviewing it anytime soon, I can see how something can surprise you. I might do one of these beers that we generally turn our nose up at. There are probably some gems covered in crap out there! haha. The problem may be that the really good beers are just too damn much money. I am keeping my eye out for a good beer that is cost effective.

Damn that Colt 45 looks great in the wine glass! I guess looks can be very deceiving.  I haven't had a malt liquor in over 25 years (when a buddy and I drove to Wyoming from Colorado in his 1974 Gremlin to get some booze cause the drinking age was 18 up there). Maybe I should review a few just for old times sake!
