I live by the ocean and I love it, but being so far from land and so vulnerable to the elements....a raging sea would definitely make one want to be back on terra firma. Beautiful song and wonderful clips. I did not know of this story but I think I would love to see this movie. Sad song about a misguided attempt at creating a conquest. thank you.

Wow. As I am so often when I see your videos, I am simply at a loss for words. Your wonderful voice, compositional skills, and lovely chord changes are so terrific on this.

Matt, I can't recall a single singer on here who really can communicate thoughtful, weary response and reflection quite like you.
