  • man,it's been 4 years since i blew the engine on my RC car.. I REALLY have to get that thing fixed!

  • What a waste of time.

  • @dalotel just like you posting that comment then?

  • Comment removed

  • @dalotel your a wast of time if you dont want to try new things to see how you like them!

  • Awesome stuff. Where can i get one??

  • Damn, this looks fucking fun! :O

  • @erin123cookiedough don't spam my video with this crap. **blocked**

  • @erin123cookiedough

    U R A FAG!

  • this car work with 4 wheel or 2 wheel???

  • @hsk661199 4 wheel drive is the preferred.

  • @hezmeister thx~cos i just bought one with 2 wheel drive,and it's standard,havent get any tunning

  • @hezmeister 4 wheel drive is a must!

  • Let's see, let's see. "Thruddle" is another word for speeder right? Then why the fuck not call it the speeder instead. Typical USA

  • @Zejex15 Was about to thumb you up until you turned it into a USA joke. Grow up man

  • @mikki925 /care

  • @Zejex15 "Throttle" its not an american word, its a "car" word.

  • @lacoster25 no way!!!!

  • @Zejex15 yeah way. its better than some stupid-ass word like "speeder" like some idiots on youtube call it thinking what everyone else says are American words.

  • @lacoster25 realy? I thought for a second these people were taking models cars serious...

  • @Zejex15 yeah, actually i think they are. That's probably why they used the proper word throttle on an instructional video, than the word speeder which is a word i saw on the box of my little brother's buzz lightyear toy car.

  • Or don't buy it!

  • I have this E10 and i think it's for beginners. Team Asso's TC4 is better

  • where can i buy that Rc car?

  • @dothat99 hpiracing(.)co(.)uk

  • @hezmeister how much it will cost?

  • @dothat99 the prices can be anywhere from £100-£1000 depending on the car, brand and upgrade parts.

  • dude! is there a link for those models that you've displayed and their prices???

  • @OzAiKiRi007 for the hpi cars hpiracing(.)co(.)uk the other ones are just prices of normal cars with the drifting upgrades from different companies, nitro and electric together.it's more personal preferance whther you get nitro or electric

  • @hezmeister do you have any link for those models that are for sale... i want an electric one... (^^)

  • @OzAiKiRi007 hpiracing(.)co(.)uk,click on hpi, electric on road and its in there.if your not in the uk try your local model shop,i'm sure that if they dont have any in th would be kind enough to order one in for you.

  • How much are they wher do you get 1 from?

  • @rohanmnbvc the price can be anywhere from £100 -£1000,and you should be able to get one from your local model shop

  • @Remington870xmag meh.does it matter?everyone has their hobbies

  • @Remington870xmag why don't you post a u-tube of your real drift car and actually drift with it instead of showing the car off and pretend you have mad drifting skill. the point is nobody but the rich boys can afford the real thing with expensive drift tyres.

  • @Remington870xmag shut up! well its maybe his hobby to drive a fake as you call it -.-

also known as rc -:- and problem that it hes and many many more ppls hobbies.....

  • My last RC car was a toy-car about 16 years or something ago ^^ I'm very interessted into RC drifting as a new hobby. But i'm wondering: do you reccomend a bushless motor or bushed? As far as i know brushless has a lot of more power but it drains the batteries very fast. But how fast is that? would you reccomend me a brushless even though i'm a beginner? can i install some kind of throttle handicap on a remote? is there any good beginners guide on equippment around?

  • @BalthazzarCH i would recommend a brushless, much more efficient than a brushed motor.with a throttle handicap i'm guessing you mean something of a speed limiter, usually,if i'm not mistaken, the esc on the car has a training mode which will limit the throttle/speed

  • @hezmeister thanks! I live in switzerland and the prices here are about 3 to 4 times higher than the prices i see on onlineshops in the US. So i want to buy my equippment online and get it shipped overhere. Are there any beginner tipps you can give me (like, avoiding certain cheap brands or buying certain replacement parts in advance) what kind of engine? (15t/9t aso) what should i consider for a good remote control / battery charger?

  • @BalthazzarCH i'm from the uk so my prices are different too, usually the car will come with remote controls.depending on the type of battery that comes with the car i would recommend getting some form of a quick charger.if it is a lipo battery,i don't know if you can use a quick charger with it.with regards to the replacement parts i would recommend upgrading the wishbones and hub carriers on the four wheels to alloy ones for durability.

  • @hezmeister my first car was a 4tec and the first thing i managed to do was snap the right rear wheel hub carrier from going over a gutter in the road.hpi racing are quite a good brand, they do have specialist drift cars for sale that will come with everything you need to get started.i would say buy 2-3 sets of drift tyres because i don't know how long each set will last..i know most of the rc drifters frown upon this ,but a dbox might be helpful with learning to drift the car.

  • @hezmeister if you type in hpi dbox in youtube, you should get a guide and explanation as to what a dbox is.it could prove quite useful, but then again maybe not.with avoiding cheap brands, really you want to go for mainstream manufacturers, hpi, traxxas, etc.however if you choose traxxas, though they are a good brand the spare parts are usually quite hard to come buy because from my experience with them they don't sell to normal hobby shops, but sell primarily all the cars and parts online.

  • @hezmeister if you buy hpi,you can get it direct from their sales website which is hpiracing(.)co(.)uk (without the brackets)that will give you a list of the cars they currently sell, their current prices and all of the spares, replacement and upgrade parts.hope this helped :)

  • just buy a tiny japanese dude and put him inside of the car.

  • HOT DAMN.

  • with the right tires could i practice or try to drift with my 3.3 nitro rustler ?just curious.

  • @TheCrocman26 i would say the best thing for the rustler would be to try it offroad because it is a truggy,if you could hold of some hard tyres, that will mean the car won't grip the road as effectively and might allow you to try and drift it

  • i always wanted to drift a car but now i can do it without dieing!

  • awsome!

  • what is the scale of the car he is driftimg

  • @mavotwenty 1/10th

  • this is awesome i can now drift with just the standard car, eveyone should doo this!!!

  • with this things u can take a film scenes :)))))))))))

  • what a head

  • i just picked it up and have been a total badass with it eversince

  • for how much can a person buy that thing ??

  • @oussama2621 it depends, they can range from £100 for a cheap one to over £1000 for a extremely decent one

  • @hezmeister okEi i see :) thnks paal

  • @hezmeister in my country £1000 job payment of YEAR!! =(((

  • @SarenArterius1987 blimey!!!what country do you live in?

  • @hezmeister Ukraine - in my country economics is realy shit =(

  • @nahcba what? u still got ur rc car?

  • hey dude, i need ur help, do u have skype?

  • @pulsE7N yes i do,but what do you need help with?

  • @hezmeister alot of stuff, i have alot of questions and I really need help. thanks man. cuz i have a rc car but have to show it to u and stuff and yh.

  • i was watching yesterday the driftking's lesson about real drifting and now utube reccomended me this ;P

  • @freddy692000 hahaha :P it' nice that youtube is recommending my video's

  • real cars are better

  • @andresmongardrocks11 LOL THEY ARE but hey with rc cars you dont have to pay thousands of dollars

  • omg it would be so cool if u made a movie based on tokyo drift with rc cars i would totally pay to see it XD

  • you have some serious skills

  • only at the end i found that it is rc car

  • do you need a 4 wheel drive or is a backdrive good enough

  • @boomerangfreak 4-wheel drive is preferable, but i think with a lot of practice you should be able to drift it

  • @hezmeister ok i gonna practice and maybe i gonna drift

  • what do u think about the hpi greddy 350z caus i get it wednesday and i bought a 4200 venom mah 8.4v with duratrax 240

  • @allwaysracing1987 should work with the right tyres

  • good video just starting out in rc drifting what does anyone think of the flying fish to start out with

  • i thought this was gonna be a joke

  • @6wewib why would it be a joke

  • @6wewib RC drifting...

  • how does it cost an rc car ???

  • @nikolas99able the cost of an rc car varies,it can be anywhere from £100 to £1000+

  • yokomo are so much better than hpi which is why im getting yokomo

  • SICK!!!!!

  • wht is the meaning of hpi

  • @daidamarie hpi stands for hobby products international.

  • CAN U SEND ME A RC CAR IVE ALLWAYS WANTED ONE AND NEVER HAD ONE THANKYOIUU

  • @1on1MClovin buy your own

  • @hezmeister dear how much it's cost in Australian $

  • @1on1MClovin do you know how much they cost!

I good one cost like 300 bucks for stock or the top of the line 1 grand

get a job dude the point of a hobby is DIY

  • @1on1MClovin lol ur just like asking him if he buy u one?...

  • @1on1MClovin cheapscate

  • where do u buy drift RC's from

  • @POPDEATH1223 your local model shop?

  • @hezmeister i would say ok but i live in mobile,al and ive checked all of the model shops, but since this town is only interested in trucks they dont have any drift cars

  • @POPDEATH1223 try mirageracing(.)com click on hpi and the electric on road, you can get nitro drift cars in nitro on road.

  • @hezmeister i found one and i love it.

P.S. ur video helped alot thank u

  • thanks ima try it

  • @hellomynameis217 yes, model cars made for drift do come with drift tyres

  • @hellomynameis217 your local model shop should sell them,or if they are kind enough, order them for you or you can go to:mirageracing(.)com.go to hpi and then tyres, they should be in there somewhere.hope this helps.

  • @hellomynameis217 if your just starting out and cannot control your, you can either put in lots of practice or you could get a d-box.it helps you to control the car when you are drifting.

  • i have an electric gravel hound, will i be able to drift with tht if i get the drift tyres???

  • @joetecza1 i would assume that it is possible to do it with that

  • @joetecza1 As long as it is 4WD

  • are these 4 wheel drive?

  • @MrSuperNathan these particular ones are 4wd

  • @MrSuperNathan Yes, u can only drift with 4WD RC-cars.

  • @phtmexplo damn cause i have a rustler and i was hoping i could just get drift tires and its rear wheel drive and has heaps of torque/power/speed.

  • T Drift tires are good folks! But my Sushi Drift tires are the ish on asphalt!!

  • it that use petrol?

    sorry bad english

  • @silverdragonaaaaaaaa this particular car is electric but you can use nitro cars.

  • wat the name of the website PM me pls

  • what was the model of the car 1:40

  • @TrialXgaming if i;m not mistaken it is an e10 drift

  • @hezmeister yes that one is an e10 but why waste money on a car modified for drift when you can get one designed for drift?? ive driven both and the PRO D is heaps better and the weight is better distributed so the battery is across the back not weighing one side down creating a drift bias (drifting left better than right)

  • @TrialXgaming xr7...? is that what you were asking?

  • @TrialXgaming rx-7

  • HPI has an awesome car that has been designed for drifting its called a PRO-D its awesome locked rear diff, battery across the back, center mounted motor and cabon fibre and orange anodised alloy i bought the first one in Australia and its pure awesome

as for the d box i recommend learning to drift rather than wasting the money on something that lets noobs drift like pros its more impressive to drift like a pro coz you are one not coz you paid for the toys to be able to be a noob and drift

  • can anyone drift with sticktype remotes.

    the ones with two sticks?

  • @TheManas16 i should think so,theres not too much of a difference between the two, driving wise.

  • hey i was thinking about buying one of these cars and changing the body to something different and try putting in the dbox and i was kinda confused on whether it would work or not.

  • @awesomedude3858 theres no point using a dbox might as well just learn how to drift it doesnt take too long to work out as this vid shows

  • i got a drift car from heb plus for 20 bucks and it actualy works

  • can you drift with 2wd?

    5/5 awesome video!!

  • i would think it is possible but a bit harder

  • sure it can, because you give gas with your backwheels

  • Yeah ive got a HPI Baja 5b and its pretty easy to drift - just turn in and hit the throttle hard.

  • @tompa214 it depends on scale and power you would need to limit the power severely on a 1/10 scale electric even with a stock motor the punch of the torque usually throws it in a flat spin so 4wd is best to pull the front around the corners and maybe look at locking the rear diff

  • can you drift with a eletric rc car

  • yup electric or nitro, possibly petrol but not quite sure about that one

  • @georgejelfs67 electric is good for drifting because it has max torque at any speed nitro is a little harder coz the gear shift can thow the car unexpectedly

  • i will get a petrol rc car 4 christmas....

    it has 4 wd

can i drift with it 2?

  • yeah thats not a problem, come to think of i think that all rc drift cars are 4wd

  • @brainl4g HPI makes drift cars in petrol and electric im not a fan of petrol but they can be drifted you just need the right tires for the amount of power you have eg i use soft tires because my electric car has enough power to do flat spins on hard tires so just have some fun with different tires

  • where can i buy one of these cars. im thinking maybe a skyline or some american muscle.

  • you could pick one up from your local model shop,i might not be an hpi one however.if you want an hpi one the best place to go is a website called hpiracing.{co}.{uk}

  • @lilred432 buy a good chassis (i recomend a PRO D) and then you can buy any shell you want paint it the colours you want and then drive it like you stole it

  • yeah you just need to set up the car right

  • Hey, how do you mean set up the car right? I got an electric rc car which i tought was pretty good, it was around 100 euro's (somewhere around 120 dollar). It is

2WD. Can i drift with this?plus i don't know how to change stuff to it, im only 15 and havent got experience...

  • what type of car is it

  • uhm i dont really know what you mean...

It's from Nikko, and its body is a subaru impreza wrx sti, and its used for on-road fun. is any of that what you ment?

  • it is possible tht becasue it is a nikko car you might not be able to get the parts needed to get the car to drift.but i might be wrong

  • oh i really wouldnt know... i just like driving around with them you know? haha

im not really into modifying or whatsoever... But Nikko is a well-known brand so i think i could....

  • @Drawnsbyme im selling my nitro car to get a yokomo but i also have a nikko i dont like it anymore its slow and has a bad range but you cant drift with it ive tried everything even putting a lump of lead on the back to weigh it down but nope

  • Is it possible to drift with my 2WD and no special drift tires at all?

  • i dont think it is possible without the special tyres,if the original tyres are hard and not soft it might be possible

  • where can you buy one?

  • mirageracing com or at a model shop

  • does it have to be nitro to drift it?

  • no,the ones in this video are electric

  • is there any where else online i can buy besides ebay

  • mirageracing com

  • are thease electronic

  • yeah these are but you can use nitro cars

  • Can you actually drift with the gas cars?

  • yeah you can drift with nitro cars,if you want i can post a link to a video with nitro cars drifting.most people choose electric cars to drift with because they are cheaper than the nitro ones.

  • Yes please. Send me the link please.

  • i want a on road car for drifting and the look of a real car but i want an off road one so i can drive it in the grass and jumps any advise

  • for god sake just buy both of them because there isn't a car that change from drift to off road car.

  • you could try a buggy however i dont know if it will work

  • hey i wanna buy a rc drift car were can i buy
